That (peaceful protest) last year that ended up with dozens dead, that was defiantly not started by protestors...

I like the bit where it says there is no convincing evidence of a US-backed coup. He must mean apart from all the completely incontrovertible proof and all but an admission of such by the American president.

Some choice of new career for Andriy Shevchenko, though.

Indeed...it was simply an outpouring of western democracy and freedom within the people that led us here,...those dirty ruskies!

So after months of groundless accusations and a complete lack of evidence, they finally show us proof and it's a lazy fake. But still he comes out with "this doesn't change the fact that there is plenty of other evidence" etc.

Liam Fox on Sky there saying it was Russia that shot down that Air Asia plane?

Are they really still spouting this? They've not even had the decency to fake evidence for this one, let alone come up with anything genuine.

Heres a bit on Fox talking about Hitl...sorry Putins world take over.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-2954547/Warning-Russia-ceasefire.html His bit on SKY about supporting smaller countries against agressive neighbours who only want whats best for them was priceless...Cuba/USA anyone?

Those are the rantings of a madman. I genuinely wonder if these people are just ignorant or stupid and actually believe what they're saying, or if they know how preposterously hypocritical it is but keep peddling it anyway.

The West is getting a bit tetchy because it was their secret services that started this in the first place.

All this righteousness over Russia comes from subconscious guilt over causing another human catastrophe through meddling in culturally alien politics that we don't understand.

Indeed. A humiliating slap in the puss for American exceptionalism. No doubt we will eventually see some kind of face-saving 'resolution' to the conflict before they leave Ukraine in a mess behind them, congratulating themselves for stopping Putin's relentless march into Europe.

Not to mention Hungary's new fuel deal with Russia, a square kick in the ho mos to the West.

I didn't really understand this love for Putin on here but it's all beginning to make sense. You approve of his persecution of homosexuals?

The Americans and their European allies need to cut their losses on the Ukrainian situation. If they think doubling down by sending more weapons or mercenaries will help, it won't. It's the ideological aspect of the conflict that makes it impossible to win. Although I suspect the whole mentality of "backing down is a sign of weakness" blinds them from seeing what should be an obvious truth.

  • 2 weeks later...

They've found the car the gunmen used, number plate is 'CIA 1'. Allegedly.

Seriously though, the march in his memory on Sunday could be interesting. I wonder if there will be any US government officials handing out cookies at this one?
