Things that annoy or delight you on the telly right now

Binge watching The Investigation about the Danish submarine murder on BBC Four. Enjoying it, but can't help wondering if the classy drama feel about it might be lost if I was fluent in Danish and it turned out to be a cringe making Channel 5 style soap opera with shite acting. Probably not.

Watched Traces which is an unsolved murder mystery 6 parter which was set in Dundee and featured Martin Compston and a few other familiar faces. Was a good watch but definitively felt it missed something with a lot of sub plots leading to nowhere.

I saw that. From an idea by Val McDermit but actually written by Amelia Bullmore, who was Steph Barnes in Coronation Street and Sonja the East European girlfriend in I'm Alan Partridge.

The Big Match Revisited on ITV4.

Repeats of English football highlights shows from the 70s.

This is real jumpers for goalposts stuff. Pitches like rice paddies, overweight players with combovers and porno taches covered in mud from said pitches. Goalkeepers being bombarded with toilet rolls and green parka clad teenagers invading the pitch after every goal.

Televised football is defiantly more aesthetically pleasing these days...

Used to watch this when I was on the  nightshift. It was on about 5 in the morning. When is it on now? I'll set the video.

It's A Sin started on Channel 4 tonight. Wow.

Hope the rest of the series lives up to that first episode.

Not sure how far you are into the series so will put the next bit in spoilers

Spoiler

Ritchie is an absolute fucking c**t, and the stuff with Colin was heartbreaking

Only saw the first episode but plan on rattling through the rest of it this weekend. The spoiler-free reviews I've seen bode well.

Really enjoying Kirsty Wark's "The years that changed modern Scotland".

Interesting content and a decent soundtrack.

I've just finished the last episode of this. It was a really interesting look back at how Scotland has changed over the years.

Just finished it mate, thought it was brilliant. It more or less mirrors my young brothers move to London in the mid 80's along with some friends. Not going to ruin the series, but if you want to know how their futures went send me a PM.

I seem to recall this being mentioned ages ago, but i've just watched Tipping Point where the creepy Ben Shephard kept touching and trying to cuddle the woman finalist after each correct answer.  She looked really uncomfortable.

Solution, get Warren from There's something About Mary in the final and let the creepy git try touching him more than once.   Aye, ah ken it was his ears, but . . . . .

Some shitey compliation about Scotland on TV which immediately followed AVFTT.

As soon as I heard that talentless harridan Godley's voice I changed channel.

BBC Scotland, you just lost a viewer.

I know it's the same thing, but I think it's her equally bad daughter that's on it.

BTW, I did the same thing an changed channel.
