Those Domino's yodeling adverts are wearing thin.

As are the recent efforts to make football people like the Rednapps and 'Crouchie' into television personalities.

I like Peter Crouch and he always comes across as a decent and self depreciating guy but his over exposure is slowly diminishing any good will I have for him

Romesh Ranganathan. Decent enough guy, moderately funny at times, but the sheer volume of shows featuring him or entirely about him is ridiculous.

Did you know he's a vegan?

Same with Sara Pascoe, another who's on the same TV circuit as him, her stand up is decent sometimes, but she must have shares in Dave as she's on every single panel show going on there.

Edit - Ranganathan's stand up is decent too, they clearly have to tone it down big time for these panel shows.

I’m not a fan of Pascoe. Find her obnoxious and her humour really blatantly contrived. Also get the strong sense of woke extremist.

Seinfeld. Worth getting into?

I would say so - better than Friends anyway which is on heavy rotation. The last couple of seasons went downhill, like all shows. And it had real, genuine highlights (The Contest, The Puffy Shirt, The library). It does look a touch dated now, like all 90s shows. And as said before, Curb far eclipses it.

The Peter Crouch Euros After Party was the worst TV I have seen in a very long time. I quite like him as an individual and the piece with Che Adams was good but other than that it was scripted garbage from a group of untalented, annoying arseholes. Not sure what Craig Telfer's role is- probably an attempt show they were also covering Scotland. When he did try a bit of banter with them it absolutely threw them off course and they had no idea what to say.

The Nevers on Sky Atlantic was a pretty good supernatural fantasy set in Victorian London about a group of women who have somehow gained special abilities. They've become feared and marginalised and it moves along at a good pace for the first 5 episodes then in the final episode you think you're watching a different show as it goes all sci-fi/alien invasion/time travel as it shows the origin story of the main charscter Amalia True.

Parts of the last season are great though. The whole storyline about George faking a disability and them trying to flush him out the office when they realise is superb. Breaking the vent to get into his entombed office still does me in.

Watching Peter McDougall's Just A Boys Game which I haven't seen for years.

At Clatty Bella's with Jake McQuillan and Dancer.

Jake : Wrap that blanket round you to keep warm.

Dancer : Christ Jake, If I wrap that blanket round me it will walk me down to the harbour and toss me in.

Brilliant writer. That one, and the two starring Jon Morrison...

Fat people on 4 in a bed complaining that the showers or the beds are too small.

Calling people "fat" is not PC.

They are "chubsters".

TBH I struggle with the amount of chubsters and ugly munters on the box that I don't pay the license anymore.

Was watching some fucking cook on morning TV a few months ago, preparing some dish and waxing lyrical about the low calorie ingredients and how its suitable for vegans. The fucker must have weighed in at about 20 stone.

TV is in the shitter. Between the lack of invention and all this woke shite, it's tan your wrist material.

No fucking wonder Porn Hub is so popular.
