The Naitch
Just watched this week's First Dates. I was cringing so hard at the guy who was complaining about not getting enough duck on his plate. What a twat.
Savage Henry
Star Trek: Picard is absolutely wonderful, 7 out of 9 for this week's ending. It’s terrific.

Agreed, proper space opera stuff. Find the parallel story on the Borg ship distracting though, wish they would sometimes stick to a single old fashioned narrative instead of insisting on multiple threads.

Dunno I think you need it to get the gist of where it's heading, it's all linked together with the story. It isn't that interesting right enough, so know what you're saying, when it goes back to JL it's far better viewing.
buchan30
Just watched this week's First Dates. I was cringing so hard at the guy who was complaining about not getting enough duck on his plate. What a twat. I wouldn’t have said f**k all, but the portions in they sort of restaurants are tiny. It did kill his date though. That lassie from melton mowbray, she seemed nice enough but the accent grated me a lot more than it should have.
Theroadlesstravelled
I’m watching Good Girls. Christina Hendricks is buxom.
KnightswoodBear
Caught a bit of Spy in the Wild at the weekend. It's unintentionally the funniest thing i've seen on TV for ages. Eventually all the animals either try to eat or f**k the robotic spy animals. They also all look like Terminator versions of the animals they're posing as, with their wee red camera eyes. The Komodo Dragons tried to eat the "spy pig" and it ended with a shot of it's wee red camera eye flickering and going out like Arnie at the end of The Terminator. They've also got a "spy rock" that looks like something Jon Pertwee's Doctor Who would have had stoating about his TARDIS. Phenomenal TV.
Hampden Diehard
Just watched this week's First Dates. I was cringing so hard at the guy who was complaining about not getting enough duck on his plate. What a twat.If his fairly aggressive attitude wasn't bad enough, plus his admission that he complained in restaurants all the time, his tattooed skull marked him out as a double twat.
Shandon Par
BBC2 last night (so should be on iplayer).. David Baddiel Confronting Holocaust Denial. Definitely worth a watch - some harrowing stuff (eg meeting a survivor and hearing her talk about seeing her family being taken away to the ovens) but he still manages to make it an entertaining watch at times. He meets an Irish denial nutjob and beforehand makes it clear to the camera that he is no Louis Theroux and then gets dragged in to a half hour row with the guy and ends up having to go to the pub to calm his nerves.
Archie McSquackle
He did really well not to just thump the Irish guy although I couldn't help but laugh when he said that was the less offensive of the songs he sang. He must just be known as the town nutter to avoid in the pub.Certainly worth a watch (but obviously not an easy watch).

Problem is that, thanks to the internet, he's now part of an influential global community of town nutters.
Ray Patterson
I've been binging on Killjoys on Amazon Prime, I watched the first series on Syfy when it came out and its absolutely class, very much of a Firefly vibe. Nearing the end of season 4, have one more to go and its been brewing to a big cresendo.
JamesConnelly
First 6 episodes of Life On Mars is on demand with UKTV play, great sunday binge.BBC iPlayer has all the episodes from Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes. You’d be better off watching those as the UKTV Player episodes are cut to ****!

KnightswoodBear
New series of The Trip on Sky. The whole series is available to watch at once. If there is anything more delightful than Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon having a Roger Moore off, then I'd like to know what it is.

If there is anything more delightful than Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon having a Roger Moore off, then I'd like to know what it is. I shouldn't really like this as I'm not a Coogan fan but the first three series were superb and the first episode of this current run already has the same humour, food porn and pathos as the other trips. Such an easy programme to watch but with that hint of sadness about growning old, family strife and ego. Superb stuff.

The beauty of it, for me, is trying to figure out where The Trip Steve Coogan ends and real Steve Coogan begins. Also, I agree about the food, I want to visit every place they gone and have dinner. I'm not a fan of Rob Brydon normally, but you get a genuine feeling of friendship between them.
jimmy boo
Another pleasing thing was there were no ad breaks for some reason.

Not a massive fan of him either but his ‘man in a box’ impression is an absolute delight. Hopefully he’ll find a way to squeeze it into this series.
MSU
I drove four hours to the outskirts of Toronto to see The Trip To Spain in the cinema. I didn't have anything else planned for the weekend. Very much looking forward to doing the same to catch the movie version of this one.
