The All New Occasionally Aussie P+B Quiz League and ☕ Occasional Cup ☕

5 out of 10 in the comely comedy quiz. Despite getting it right, I take issue with the number of characters in Q1.

Also, due to the impending no-confidence vote in Theresa May's government, there will be no league tables today.

Can I join in please? (I take it all I need to do is do the quiz every day and post up my score.)

Of course! Welcome. We used to have a couple of QotS fans but they disappeared so good to have you on board.

Just post your score in each quiz (it takes places Monday - Friday but because it's an Australian quiz, it'll be the evening before).

To take part in this week's league, just post your scores from Monday ... you can access from here: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz-archive

And here is the link to today's quiz, quiz fans: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=11223&sectionId=1  ...

Woo. An 8 for your Cardinal. That was lucky.

Well done to the four play off chaps who have came back quickly with their answer.

In response to where Sir Aboubakir got his honoury degree the answer was Sheffield in 1960

@welshbairn said Bristol,  @Ross. thought Leicester,  well done Ross

@Jacksgranda went for London and @The Captain plumped for Manchester to go through.

Say posted for the next round appearing Friday evening.

Thought Manchester was near the middle of Britain and consequently covered most bases. London seems the obvious answer.
