Playoff #204 - High Seas

Captains of the ship this weekend were;

Pfizer Premiership Relegation Playoff

@Helpma  image.png.26b13c204f98566bdb1010a2a677a308.png Hamilton-Dundee.  Taking 28 miles Hamilton-Livingston as a baseline, subtracting the cube root of my waistline and summing the squares of the other two sides, we get:  92 miles as the crow flies. 🆚 @The DA  image.png.f932bec7eab32f180d49bb9e3a6c53d6.png Dundee-Hamilton must be about 60 miles.

Question - As the crow flies, how far is it between Dundee to Hamilton? 63miles https://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between-hamilton_-scotland-and-dundee_-scotland.htm

@Helpma working on the taxies for too long, sees him doomed. @The DA gets a second bite.

Please don't discuss your 2nd question answers as this part of the playoff is still live & exclusive. Thanks

Playoff #204 - High Seas

Captains of the ship this weekend were;

Pfizer Premiership 4th/5th Playoff

@The Hologram  image.png.740fef8b295ecfe7ae94e34ae0667306.png I'll go for 17750 vessels 🆚 @WhiteRoseKillie  image.png.b24af90cd41bf4586fdb052456e12e4c.png  I seem to recall that there were about 15k shops through the canal each year, but obviously 2020 would have been a bit different because of Covid. How different, is the question? I don't reckon the wheels of industry would have slowed down all that much, so I'll go for 9785.

Mediterranean Sea Playoff

Assuming one ship every half-hour through the Canal, I'd say 18,000 per year.

26,000 ships through the canal

Assume 30 ships a day average which gives me 10950 a year

Question -  The Suez Canal. How many vessels traversed the canal  in the year 2020?

@The Hologram comes close, to secure his Europa cup place @WhiteRoseKillie mugged it, so plays in the Mugs Cup

All hand on deck as @The DA more or less gets it. @German Jag never counted his U-boats.

It was close, very close only 50 in it. @gkneil gets the wind just. @ArmadaleKillie his Armada is sunk.

I will now pass you over to the Champion of last week, to take care of you all @Eednud, take the reins......

Stay safe be good to him! See you all next week. Thanks.
