Snobot
You’d have to be a complete moron to Google and post the correct answer, to be fair, despite how wildly implausible it seems to the casual onlooker that someone might randomly pick the exact attendance of a Scottish Cup final from 52 years ago. Surely the discerning shitebag would maybe miss by a fraction to avoid raising suspicion.
NJ2
No chance [mention=73487]NJ2[/mention] knew it off the top of his napperf**k you! Of course I knew it, I even posted the links that told me it. Ah wait, did I know it before reading them? No. I can barely remember things that happened in my lifetime never mind before. Anyway, nice 9 to start the campaign in the middle, beige, league. Maybe I shouldn’t stand in on playoff duty next time...

I was on my phone, got a message up saying the website was blocked, must be the new WiFi tracking my usual browsing history Anyway I took it when I got home, shouldn't have bothered, got 1! No wonder I was out in round 1. @alang1993 if you PM me I can explain the reasoning behind the 9 I got wrong.......

The Captain
8/10 for Monday - how Emma spends her Nairas is of no concern of mine..... And my bronze medal attempt for the cup has been frankly a damp squip.

Couldn't tell you any others though. Strangely I know the attendance for Celtic v Leeds at Hampden was 136505. The 1968 cup final was the first non-OF final since Saints v Aberdeen in 59 and I remembered the attendance was slightly more than half of the 59 final which always puzzled me as it was only 9 years later. hence my guess of 57250. Incidentally the next final to be OF-free was 1987! 1986

TheGreenElves
Before I reveal the results I'd like to thank all people that took part(only no show was deej, if the captain can let him out of his basement now that would be great). A few Highlights of the tournament as well : - The captain going through with a score of 2, when other people were going out with a score of 9. - the 3 way tie between the titans @die hard doonhamer @SlipperyP and @Jacksgranda - The 100% achieved by scottmcleancontacts in round one( we'll not mention the 3 in round 2) - I enjoyed writing the rounds. Especially the ones that had a posters name as a subject and the specialist round where you all picked a topic. Some specialist categories requested(you b*****ds ) - some very tight matches that required me to rack my brains for some unusual tiebreakers. Especially @MSU and @Rugster guessing the same answer! Right, on to the scores. In the Bronze Medal match it was @The Captain 2 @MSU 7 . Congratulations to MSU(I'm sure Slippery P can give you a bronze medal on the table) Now on to The Final @mathematics 3 @Rugster 7 Congratulations Rugster They will be partying(socially distanced of course) on the streets of Falkirk tonight. Congratulations to everyone that took part, a lot of tough questions in there(very little complaining for all the modern music in there, which was good to see. @SlipperyP if you could award a gold medal to Rugster and a silver medal to mathematics(cracking effort by the way) Edited November 23, 2020 by alang1993

I’m surprised to win with a 7 but as I said it was a tough quiz. Thanks for doing it! Well played @mathematics

That was my point earlier, even someone who can score a 10 in one round can follow that up with a shitty one. In either case, it shouldn't be questioned.Much love, SMC [emoji8][emoji8][emoji8].

LincolnHearts
If there is ever a World Cup of Quizzing, we could pull our whole squad and backroom staff from P&B before dinnertime on a Tuesday. If we drew Australia they'd just hand over the trophy.
