I believe it's to do with familiarity with the question setter(s) and their way of thinking. Back in the '80s when I used to empty trivia machines like it was going out of style, I would get far more guesses right than the law of averages would suggest was right - because one answer just "seemed" right. Totally unscientific and anecdotal, I know, but I have posted recently saying the same appears to be happening with this quiz.

There's definitely a trend in this quiz wherein an apparently daft or obscure answer is often the correct one.  They also fall in to the common multichoice trap of putting the right answer in the middle.  Today, for example, even if you didn't look at the questions, you'd have scored five by ticking all of the 'C' answers and three by ticking all of the 'B' answers but 'A' and 'D' only get one apiece.  This is a common pattern on here.

Of course, I ignore much of this because I THINK I know the answer and then make a baws of it.

Glad I read this before I took the quiz.

It's the weekly European Tour Quiz, you achieved this by finishing 3rd last week.
You don't need to answer any separate question, as your score just comes from the daily quiz that  you do.  Your up against MSU but he needs to get his scores in before I can do the next stage.

Thank you.
