fellow canine lovers, some advice........

Big roxy my GSD x Belgian was out  with me this morning on her morning run about down the park.....I came in and went to work, Mrs came in from shopping and there was a bit of blood about, seems its coming from her Dew claw. I phoned the oldest daughter there and the wife had bandaged it up and you can see a bit of blood on the bandage but its not SATURATED or dripping off it.  I've read a couple of things saying if you can get it off then do it, or cut it to the quick and bandage it back up for a few days.

Anyone any experience or advice, first time for me in 35+ years of dogs.

ETA: there was a bit of blood dripping from the claw but not POURING

She loves rolling around in mud as well, takes ages to get her clean but she's a sweetheart

Fair play getting four dugs to run in the same direction at once. I can't even get one to run never mind in any given direction.

Racist, IMO.
