Rizzo
His search training instructor got some good pics of the boy today. He's actually doing pretty well at this, glad we started taking him.

The dog has to take the scent of a person either from an article (gloves or a hat or something similar) or from the environment (like off a door handle or a wall they've been sitting on) and then follow their scent to find them. As the dog gets experience, the "trails" they're expected to complete get more challenging. So, the missing person might hide in a group of people and the dog has to pick them out, or they might jump up into a tree or onto a wall. Morse is working towards his first assessment atm. He's covered taking scent from novel items, navigating junctions and working through distractions.

Rizzo
A gigantic spider scampered across our loving room floor and vanished under the sofa. Morse then spent the rest of the evening making sure it didn't come back out.
