Late to the party here but my first dog was a gamekeeper’s Labrador that couldn’t work out how to retrieve. Not a proper rescue dog but you could tell that as he wasn’t earning his keep he wouldn’t be tolerated for much longer.

7 months old when I got him. Most intelligent chilled out dog I’ve ever had.

Every time I threw a ball for him he turned, looked up at me and said ‘Don’t look at me. You threw it ya dafty, you go get it back!’  😀

We had a rescue collie who we think was a failed sheep dog, give he'd hope over the fence and snooze in the field as sheep grazed around him!

Morse likes to think he's top dog in our house but Skye is always in there first when there's cake on the go.

I wish in life to find a woman who looks at me as Skye looks at cake.

Morse did a sponsored walk for Parkinson's uk last week and this photo of him appeared on their Facebook page today.

Half tempted to ask them for a copy.

Birthday lab was 6 years young yesterday.

I have that same paddling pool for Cooper and he won't go anywhere near it despite it being perfect for cooling him down on a warm day, take him near any open water though and he's straight in.

Codi was a fish in a past life; goes for any water, sniffs it out from miles away and drags us towards it. Definitely the retriever genes in there somewhere.

Not really macho enough for the Hillwalking Thread but strange the things you do at teatime on a Saturday when you’ve managed to avoid the Sirens call of the beer garden. Who knows, it might even catch on…
