Shug the Dug was much better. Actually I had the name picked and found a dog to suit it!

I used to have the Hairy Maclary books read to me when I was little and there was a dog in them called Hercules Morse (as big as a horse). Morse is the biggest dog we've ever had, so got the name. Skye was called Skye when we adopted her and it seemed to suit. Millie was going to be Minnie, Tilly or Toph but Millie seemed to stick and she picked it up really quickly. Cooper came with his name from the cat and dog home so we just kept it for him. If we were renaming him it was going to be Lenny, after the River City character not the ginger haired manager, this was the only name we could both agree on for some reason.

There's a wee sausage dog that lives next door to us and I always refer to it as Schnitzel von Krumm. Likewise we also have a Muffin McLay that lives further down the street. In reality these dogs are named Connie and Alfie. Edited March 1, 2023 by Rizzo
