Just about to leave for Edinburgh. Archies CT scan is today and we'll find out if the cancer is beginning to regrow. Obviously I'm nervous as f**k but I'm telling myself that we're going to get bad news at some point,  if its today then there's nothing we can do.

Other than that the wee bugger has been getting around really well and we've managed some decent walks with him with no pain afterwards.

Good luck! Hope you get good news.

Other than a tiny change in a lymph node which they aren't worried about at all there's no sign of anything!

Our two after an evening walk chasing some glow in the dark balls. Brodie, the boxer, sadly has cancer in his liver and lungs and is about six weeks into palliative care, so every day we get with him is a bonus. It’s all about trying to make sure he can spend his final days being as happy as we can realistically make him. IMG_2241.jpg

Aw sorry to hear that, what age is Brodie? He looks pretty happy here, hope you can continue to make his last days happy ones.

He's a handsome fella, certainly doesn't look like it's getting him down.

Thanks. He’s seven. It’s nearly two months since we had the diagnosis. He’s still doing really well, enjoying all the extra treats and bonus meals he’s getting to combat the hunger caused by the steroids. We agreed that we’d do the palliative route and just keep him going for as long as possible. When we got the diagnosis, we didn’t expect him to see November, but we’re now wondering if he might even see out the year.

Know that feeling - we thought exactly the same about Archie. About the same age too. Thankfully, dogs are resilient buggers!

Glad he's doing so well and hopefully you'll get a good Christmas and New Year with him.
