WhiteRoseKillie
the b*****d is only trying to cut debt now. must be the worst kind of chairman Have another read of the OP. If he pulled the cash out of his arse tomorrow and paid the debt off, I'd still want shot of the cúnt. Worst kind of human being.
Quitongo's Left Peg
Have another read of the OP. If he pulled the cash out of his arse tomorrow and paid the debt off, I'd still want shot of the cúnt. Worst kind of human being. Rubbish. Our main problem is the debt, and the majority of big decisions MJ has made (Rangers/Celtic tickets, abstaining on Sevco vote, sacking of Shiels) have all centred around the D word. If we weren't saddled with such an overdraft then would he have had to make these decisions? No. If he has found a way of wiping out a large % of our debt, then as a brilliant boy-band once said - things can only get better.
the west curve
If MJ pulls this off which is highly likely he will be highly thought of in the town. Others were claiming he had no plan in place to dissolve the debt. He keeps his cards close whilst others spout rubbish. What will the Hippo and his boy wonder have to moan about now? As they say it's check mate to MJ.

His treatment of the kids at Young Killie? The nepotistic appointment of his daughter? The disregard shown to disabled fans and their carers? Alienating local businesses? Copyrighting the name of OUR Club? And paying himself 100k a year for all that and more? In everything he's done at RP, he's shown absolute contempt for the people who had made sure there was a Club there to start with. Arsehole doesn't cut it. He needs a new word made up just for him. Arsehole doesn't cut it. He needs a new word made up just for him. I know for a fact from someone who left Young Killie not long ago that the full story hasn't came out there. The copyright issue isn't for his benefit, it's to protect the name of the club and would be passed on to any new owners. The other things you mention are completely subjective, and the fact is you and I don't know the full story - only what killiefc.com tells us. And we all know how unbiased they are... Many clubs have Chief Executives that take a wage, as the days of local owners that do it for the love of it all are dwindling. You, like many others, are quick enough to jump on any and every anti-MJ bandwagon that starts rolling from the .com forum, but are completely unwilling to give him any credit. Even when it's due. I know he's done wrong, and hasn't been the perfect owner. But to claim he's an "arsehole" or that he's done nothing positive for the club is nonsense. the west curve
Does anyone still go on to the Killie.com forum? I stopped reading the topic as it was so biased against our club.

padster
It will be a master stroke if he pulls it off, BUT theres too much bad history from that man and won't be forgotten. We need fresh face's on the board , not just bowie, to galvanise the club and pull the support back to ruggers. Mj is well past his sell by date. topcat(The most tip top)
In all seriousness, this is only good news for the club. The article is scrambling for some amount of 'controversy' that doesn't even exist. The "controversy" would mostly be generated outside Ayrshire. Even if that were true, the fact that he got these so badly wrong suggests a man lumbered with such stupefying idiocy that we're better off without him anyway. It's not all lies, hearsay and conjecture. But seriously, it's just a bunch of Killie fans discussing Killie related stuff and sharing opinions, to paint it as anything more sinister says more about you than the discussions held therein.
