Banterous
Scintillating response! The reports of tampering are getting tedious and some of the Yes posters on here are in agreement. Let's work on the future and handle the fact that the majority want the Union.

Let's work on the future and handle the fact that the majority want the Union. Whilst I don't think the tampering stories have any legs, the fact remains that No only won due to a complete perversion and abuse of the democratic process, including fear, intimidation, lies and breaking of Purdah rules. This isn't over chummy.

This is not one of these facebook clips that shows supposed ballot papers in the wrong pile or someone tampering with them, or someone tweeting shite. This is a police investigation into illegal practises, publicised by the leader of the Scottish Conservatives, so it's perfectly valid. Plus doant shoot ra messinjur, no? renton
So the Kelvin commission is going to have representatives from Labour, the Tories, the Lib dems the SNP and the Greens? So far the Lib Dems have announced Michael Moore and Tavish Scott as their representatives. The Tories have announced Annabel Goldie and Prof. Adam Tompkins (a bona fide idiot) Who'll make up the rest? Since this is all his idea will Gordon brown pop up for Labour? Impressed that the Greens are being represented. Also from reading some bits of the Holyrood amgazine that FrankenMoore has gone native to a degree..... Colkitto
The Unionist parties made promises in blind panic. They will now have to consider the implications of those promises. Gordon Brown promised "home rule" as near as possible to a federal state. Lets say the Unionist parties do agree to a quasi federal state. How will the English and for that matter the rest of the UK react? What happens to Scottish MP's voting in Westminster? Some number if you're getting an MP's salary for only voting on defence & foreign affairs Could a MP representing a Scottish constituency ever be PM again? The step to full independence would then be but a very small step. Could it leave the Union in a more perilous position?

renton
Really, how so? Last I saw Darling had smashed the leader of Yes into retirement Salmond isn't retiring, but thanks for reminding us about darling's classy tweet, the first time anyone had seen or heard from the c**t since his absolute cunting by salmond on live TV. Or was their another reason that Douggie Alexander and Gordon Brown became the public face of the No campaign?
