nsr
Cheers. We'll probably rejoice at seeing Gibraltar take points off someone then act surprised when they do it to us.
Marshmallo
Folk claiming Gibraltar will get anything in this group are the absolute worst.
HibeeJibee
In today's CL draw, Lincoln were hoping for the Andorran champions and hoping they didn't get the Estonian champions... and it turned-out to be the third option, the Faroe Isles champion HB of Torshavn. They'll probably prove too strong for them particularly as the Faroese are midway through their season, but there's a chance. If they do progress they'll be slaughtered by Partisan Belgrade in the next round. College Europa were hoping for Birkirkara of Malta in their EL QR1 draw or failing that perhaps the Georgian team, but they got Vaduz - Liechtenstein cup holders and newly promoted to the Swiss Superleague - who will swamp them. If a miracle happened they would certainly get a tanking of Ruch Chorzow of Poland. Their main hope will be for Lincoln to win their QR1 tie, or at least get a draw in one of the legs to get some coefficient points onboard.
Venti
Drew their CL qualifier 1-1
craigkillie
I'd expect the Lincoln pubteam to be absolutely vaporised by every potential opponent, with the *possible* exception of the Andorran / San Marino team. HB Torshavn are light years ahead of them, even if they are not very good against anyone else. bit of a joke, really. Might as well invite Milngavie Wanderers to take part in the Champions League.
forameus
Drew their CL qualifier 1-1 Extremely good result, although with that away goal, I'd fear for them in the second leg. But then I thought they'd get pumped in the first leg...

craigkillie
They're a Swiss top flight side, to be fair.
Enigma
They're a Swiss top flight side, to be fair. Losing 3-0 is hardly an 'ok' result though, especially as they were 2-0 down after 8 minutes, suggesting it was hardly an ok performance either. craigkillie
Nobody remembered that when they knocked Falkirk out.. They weren't in the top flight when they beat you, though they had been in it in the previous season.
HibeeJibee
College finished 4th in the Gibraltar Premier, having come up from tier 2, and qualified as losing cup finalists. Vaduz have just been promoted to the Swiss Superleague, and qualified as Liechtenstein cup winners, and have plenty EL and international experience: 6 players on a combined 281 Liechtenstein caps, 4 players on a combined 26 Switzerland U20/U21 caps, even a lad with 12 North Korea caps. There are plenty clubs better than College Europa - even full-time clubs - who'll go to clubs similar to/poorer than Vaduz and do worse than a 3-0 loss. So keeping it to 3-0 away, particularly after 2-0 early on, is "ok". Edited July 8, 2014 by HibeeJibee
welshbairn
They weren't in the top flight when they beat you, though they had been in it in the previous season. I'd already booked flights and hotel for the next round. Great times in Vaduz though, apart from the abysmal football.
craigkillie
It's somewhere I've always fancied visiting. Hopefully Killie get back into Europe at some point soon and we might end up there.

craigkillie
3-0 already - this is much more like the pumping I was half expecting in the first leg.
Nightmare
Showing the highlights at HT, and it looks like it was 3-0 going on 8. Missed a few more really easy chances. Torshavn's ground is bizarre.
craigkillie
3-2 now. Lincoln have been all over them in this second half and hit the post in between the two goals.
Nightmare
4-2 now, Lincoln refusing to tackle the guy.
