ICTChris
As it seems Terry Butcher is off to Hibs, who do people think will replace him as manager of ICT? A few of the out of work managers will get a shout - Shiels etc. Also, there are some ex-ICT players doing a good job in lower leagues or Highland football, guys like Paul Sheerin and Barry Wilson. There'll be discussion relating to Maurice Malpas taking over as well as the terrifying prospect of some of the journeyman Sportsound crew - Tangoman, Yogi Hughes. Our board have surprised us a few times with appointments so lets see what happens if, as looks likely, Butcher goes to Hibs.

I imagine this discussion will mostly comprimise of Motherwell fans alternatively laughing and sympathising with you at the prospect of having Malpas as your manager. Do you think he could handle the pressure again?
ICTChris
What about Steve Paterson? Do you think he could handle the pressure again? No. Doubt he has any interest in it. Not sure how the current squad would respond to him falling asleep in the dugout and telling them it's OK to have a 'wee dram' the night before a game either

Rugster
Robert Taylor @InvCourier 4m Terry Butcher tells the Courier he has had NO contact with Hibs and has NOT agreed terms. Quitongo's Left Peg
Shiels would be much better suited to the Inverness job than the Hibs job. He'd invoke that community spirit that appears to be so lacking in the Highland capital. As for whether he'd better Butcher on the pitch, I have my serious reservations. Doubt he'd want to give up his day job (counsellor of some description I think) to be thrown back in the limelight though, knowing his 'life experience' will constantly be brought up. As an aside, anybody who hasn't read Pele's autobiography should buy a copy pronto. Amazing read.

Dewsburydude
Shields is a no go. After all the whinging he did over having to travel up the A9 twice a season. Do you really think he would want to do it every fortnight. An arse of a man IMO.If Butcher was to take a risk and take a footballing step down, Paul Hartley and/or Ritchie Foran with Steve Marsalla. Could just be Hibs trying to unsettle ICT before weekend game
