#PrayForJim #WeAreAllSpencey

Someone get a candle vigil organised.

Prayers? Candles? Vigils?

*Sniff sniff*

Complaints will be through the roof now :P

Maybe if some of the ex-cathedra Rangers fans making a complaint had paid more attention and highlighted the boom and bust nature of Murray and Whytes tenures they wouldn't have died?

NUJ organiser for the Scotland:

"The BBC has offered it's total support to Jim. We do not condone the vile and disgusting e-mails and texts that he has received and find it totally unacceptable that a journalist has been treated this way"

Shockerooni.

What a pathetic collection of utter f*ckwits.

Accept it. The club formerly known as Glasgow Rangers is undergoing liquidation.

It is an entirely separate club from the one adopting the Rangers name now playing in Scotland's 3rd tier.

This is fact. 100%

Just acknowledge and move on.

the bbc trust told bbc scotland to stop saying rangers are dead. spence went against the bbc trust ruling on this therefore he has to be censured in some way. if he is happy to sit on the license fee gravy train he has to play by the rules.

there is no legal procedure to liquidate a football club.

the club was sold before the liquidation process started, that is not up for debate.

Again, a load of shite. Tell us, what is a modern day football club?

Does the club or company own the stadium for example?

Do the players/staff get paid from the club or company?

Who makes the kit? Is it done through a deal via the company?

The club was never sold before liquidation, of course I'm sure you'll be able to prove us with examples of football clubs being bought without the company?

As much as people want that to be the case, it's not what happened. The SFA membership of The Rangers Football Club was transferred from one holding company to another, because the formation of a genuinely new club would have meant that AFC Rangers or whatever the new club would have been called by that point would not have been able to get straight back into the SFL, because they would not have been in a position to gain SFA membership in the timeline required, and that would have meant complete financial armageddon for Scottish football.

They didn't get SFA Membership. They fudged the rules, made them an associate it or some bullshit, then slipped that they'd made them a full member in a few months ago.

ARMAGEDDON

The associate membership was for the SFL not the SFA. They would not be able to play in the Scottish Cup otherwise.

We had 2 Rangers at one point

One trying to get voted into the SPL under Charlie Green

And the other who had a vote on it through D&P

To try and suggest they are the same club is laughable.

Except he didn't say Rangers are dead. He said many people believe that Rangers died. Which is factually accurate, many people do believe that.
