naegoodinthedark
Rise Of Skywalker is an excellent film, and a good end to the story. People who don’t like it can help themselves to a persistent cough and a high temperature IMO.
mishtergrolsch
I'm not saying you cant like the film. It just means you like multiple gaping plot holes supplemented by multiple Mcguffins and things that happen just because. I don't. No harm done and I wont judge you much. Cough cough.

If you start looking for plot holes and McGuffins, the original trilogy doesn't really stand up scrutiny either. Just enjoy all the films for what they are. Apart from the ones with Jar Jar.

DA Baracus
ROS is good but in the bottom half of Star Wars movies when they're ranked Best to Worst. Accept this and don't make me post the list again.

accies1874
I think I'd have TPM bottom because the last couple of times I've watched any of the prequels it's been as a trilogy, so I'm always pretty shocked at how bad TPM is and my expectations are at 0 by the time AOTC comes round. I might actually hate ROS the most because of the "fan service", flashy, cynical, occasionally incomprehensible, retcon bullshit it served up, whereas at least TPM and AOTC are just really, really bad films as a result of GL's vision rather than feeling like they were written by a team of fanfic weirdos. R1 would've been quite good if they just started it at the final act, as nothing before really added to the dull AF characters. TLJ has some good stuff in amongst an occasional really bad thing, and it does actually feel like it was the product of a script unlike the other two in the new trilogy. That will be all.
DA Baracus
TPM is easily the best of the prequels. Easily.
Bully Wee Villa
It's shite. ROTS is pretty decent. Correct order as follows: Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Star Wars (I don't like its new name), Rise of the Skywalker, Rogue One, Last Jedi, Solo, Force Awakens, Revenge of the Sith, Attack of the Clones, The Phantom Menace.
