Vader will track him down and kill him. As he plunges his Light Saber into the wee mans chest, Reva will do the same to him, then Obi Wan will do the same to her. Like a human centipede with Light Saber.

Qui-Gon's force ghost appears "WTF! They all get a lightsaber to the guts and live. I die like a mug on Naboo. Even Maul's alive out there somewhere and he was cut in half!"

Qui Gon needed the Fennec Shan abdominal replacement procedure. Maybe he didn't have the health insurance policy that covered being stabbed in the gut.

Bit of an oversight for a Jedi.

That was a fucking tremendous saber and force fight tbf, obi wan finally showing the force powers of a jedi master

Spoiler

Why, oh fucking why (other than cause a new hope requires him to do so) would obi wan not finish vader off and save the galaxy from his terrible reign, he literally had him pn his knees, one more hit and he was finished, dead, done, but no obi wan decides "ah f**k it I'll leave the 2nd most feared person in the galaxy alive)

Also i feel bad for luke having amnesia, i mean he didn't have a scooby what a jedi or anything was in a new hope, but he literally had to flee for his life from a sith/jedi force user just there lol

As he’s a Jedi and showing mercy there eventually leads to his redemption.

Also Luke does not know she’s a force user.  He fell from rocks and was unconscious.  The whole time he doesn’t see the light sabre, as she doesn’t have it ignited when running, and he’s unconscious at the end.

That was a tremendous episode of TV, really enjoyed it.

That was a fantastic finale for a series that's been far better than I was willing to let myself hope for. Despite that I really hope they resist temptation to keep going and leave it there. This felt like as natural a place to leave things ahead of A New Hope - particularly for Obi-Wan, Leia and Luke.

The scene after Obi-Wan slashed open Vader's helmet gave me chills. Christiansen and McGregor play it so well, and the alternation between Christensen and James Earl Jones for Vader's voice was superb.

For me, Vader's response to Obi-Wan's apology does a perfect job of showing why the latter is so pessimistic when Luke thinks he can still reach out to Anakin in Return of the Jedi.

Spoiler

I thought she had it ignited when deflecting the blaster shots from his aunt and uncle, he seen that did he not? and i might be wrong here (it was a very dark scene) i thought i seen him shoot a blaster (probably not)

I like how they tied in the bit from a new hope where obi wan tells luke that vader killed his father

Just seeing obi wan actually use the force like a jedi master was fucking tremendous though, the saber fight was stunning, probably my second favourite after the obi wan/qui gon vs maul in TPM,

I appreciated that little touch too. That and Obi-Wan calling him "Darth" at the end of duel. It's now his specific little dig at Anakin rather than just a weird outlier line from A New Hope and before they'd decided to make Vader Luke's father.

Spoiler

Aside from the Vader fight and the cool audio between his voice and I’m not mistaken the air gasps sounds from the fantastic fan film shard of the past.  I thought it was shite. With terrible plot holes.

Episode 5 was really good.  Tbh not much of a fan of Star Wars.  But why did third sister after getting near killed by Vader

A.  Not die

B.  Get to Tattoine

C.  Even want to kill Luke.  I think trying to kill your boss screams being fired.  Maybe I missed some dialogue.

Also in the Obi Wann fight.  Why did Vader not make sure he was dead in that rock pile and again, why didn’t Obi-Wan kill Vader.  He knows full well what he’s capable of.  After defeating him he just flys away.  No Star Destroyer firing at him.  Also that thing firing a f**k load of lasers at the start chasing the ship.  Plenty of time for important dialogue however.

Oh and flying to Alderaan for a wee thanks and a pat on the back before flying away again.  No want a cup of tea Obi-Wan?  Had yer dinner?  Nah I’ll get going.

The Grand Inquisitor said that the thought of revenge can be a great healer.  Why didn't Darth Maul, Anakin, or the Grand Inquisitor die?  "The dark side of the force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural"

I think the main question is how did she get there so fast.  But Obi-Wan got there just as fast.

She wanted to kill Luke as he is the son of Anakin Skywalker.  The ultimate revenge for the slaughter of her "family" by Anakin when he killed all the younglings.  Would be killing the youngling of Anakin.

He doesn't kill Vader for the same reasons he doesn't kill him in Episode III.  He says he is like a brother, he can't do it.  In an earlier episode he is seeing yearning for a brother he can barely remember.  He doesn't need the victory like Anakin does, so leaves him alive as it isn't the Jedi way to kill someone.

The whole point of the visit to Alderaan was to get rid of the droid.  As Obi-Wan said in Episode IV he doesn't recall ever owning a droid.

I don't really get the spoilers. If you are stupid enough to come in here without watching that's on the fool who does.

That was fucking great. You guys have nailed everything I loved about it.

Ewan McGregor is great in this. What a boy.

I hope there is a second season of Obi-Wan off doing some secret shit where no other "known" characters are involved.

Watched it all now.

The Obi Wan and Vader stuff was top notch. Held the whole season together imo. Really wanted to love the show but left feeling it was a missed opportunity.

Wasn't a big fan of the writing, some jarring plot holes and really terribly written conveniences. Some crap CGI and some really poor directing overall. The whole season was a big generic escort mission peppered with some great acting chops from McGregor and Christiansen and some nice light sabre fights. I thought it would open out to something better after the first few episodes.

Qui Gon was wasted imo, could have been done better however it was brilliant to see him.

Really didn't like Reva, I didn't buy the character. You don't sneak up behind Vader, ignite your lightsaber, lift it up and try swinging at him and expect him to not have a clue whats going on. I thought her storyline was an interesting idea poorly executed.

I'd take a season 2 if Ewan is up for it. But where do you go from absolutely fucking up Darth Vader? Maybe Qui Gon helping Obi Wan to find Master Yoda? Or trying to find the remaining Jedi?

And no more escort missions please.

Pretty much of the same opinion with the flashback and last fight both excellent but little to recommend it other than that.

The plot is wafer thin with two episodes of Obi Wan rescuing Leia and even one of them is a poorly executed version from Jedi Fallen Order. I was hoping it would focus on Obi Wan coming to terms with what happened to Anakin and there would be flashbacks in every episode but it never committed to this.

The Reva character just doesn't ring true she wants to get revenge on Vader for killing her friends by working with him and killing and torturing innocent people and Jedis. Again it's just poorly executed and I wouldnt be surprised if she was only in it so they can now give her a spin off show and keep pumping out content for Disney+.

It has some of the most ridiculous Star Wars scenes ever the Leia chase scenes and hiding under a trench coat. Characters make dumb decisions just to drive the plot forward such as Vader leaving Reva alive, Bail recording an unencrypted message to Obi Wan telling everyone where Luke is and the fake Jedi just happens to drop it for Reva to find.

And being stabbed through the gut with a lightsaber is now equivalent to a paper cut.

You said he doesn't kill him in ep 3, but come on he chopped 3 of his 4 limbs off and left him on fire burning to death, and given his shock at finding out anakin was vader he clearly thought he was going to die in ep 3, and walked away from him knowing this,

So he clearly has no issue with anakin/vader dying, and even worse, when vader tells him that he himself killed anakin and theres nothing left, that should have been obi wans trigger to go "ah well f**k it" and kill him
