McFadden joins Falkirk on two week Trial

post-43851-0-70374300-1370341530_thumb.j

Falkirk have brough Scotland legend James McFadden in on a two week trial, both parties are looking to check out what they can offer each other, Alex Ferguson has stated obviously James has a lot of quality, however we won't be rushing into anything and I don't think James is in a hurry to make his mind up.

Falkirk face a tough time getting the money together for McFadden should they sign the ex-Scotland internationalist, rumour are flying around that Riordan might be leaving and of course big Lyle Taylor will likely be highly sought after given his performances last year.

Dundee United chase Falkirk youngster.

post-43851-0-80284500-1370342594_thumb.j

Dundee United have made it public knowledge that Stephen Kingsley is their top target this summer, however Alex Ferguson's asking price may prove a stumbling block. Kingsley's value is 70k and Ferguson has told Dundee United they will have to stump up with 300k plus add-ons to have a chance of talking with the lad.

After a short and some what successful spell, Hibs have paid 30k to bring Roirdan back to Easter Road. Ferguson said he was in no place to stop Riordan moving back to Hibs and wished him all the best, now Ferguson has a job on his hands filling the whole in the squad left from Riordan.

Falkirk sign Yves Ma-Kalambay

Falkirk have signed the Congo internationalist, we believe this is as cover to last seasons first choice Michael McGovern. However Michael McGovern has been linked with a move away from Falkirk recently.

Falkirk sign Harkins in record signing

post-43851-0-00732900-1370349492_thumb.j

Falkirk today got Gary Harkins, the former Dundee playmaker has moved to Falkirk in their record ever transfer. The deal totals £450k, however Falkirk will pay £150k upfront and the rest over 48 months. Harkins will surely put and end to the continued list of attacking midfielders link with the club, after Falkirk failed to land McFadden due to being unable to afford his wage demand, the club were then linked with Paddy McCourt and Dundee United youngster Ryan Gauld.

post-43851-0-23029600-1370350038_thumb.j

Falkirk and Dundee United had agreed term, however last seasons high flying Ross County also has an offer accepted. Mark thought a move to Ross County would be a better move and decided against re-signing for Falkirk.

Falkirk loan Brian Easton.

post-43851-0-26792600-1370354135.jpg

Brian Easton has joined Falkirk untill the end of the season, Falkirk will not have to pay any of the Dundee left back wages. Ferguson said Brian is likely to offer cover with both centre back and left back roles furthermore allowing me to loan out Dick.
