FalkirkBairn93 252 Report post Posted December 21, 2019 Last week I delivered 600 Christmas cards to deliver to all the customers I drop milk off too during the night. I don’t know their circumstances but I do know some may have no one and will be spending Christmas alone, it’s a bid to combat social isolation and hope it brings a smile to someone’s face. If it does, I’ll be a happy bloke.

bennett 3,788 Report post Posted December 22, 2019 (edited) You still get milkmen? Thought that cheap supermarket milk would've made it hard for them to compete. Edit.. nice touch with the cards. Edited December 22, 2019 by bennett
FalkirkBairn93 252 Report post Posted December 22, 2019 You still get milkmen? Thought that cheap supermarket milk would've made it hard for them to compete. Edit.. nice touch with the cards. It’s cheaper out the supermarkets but then I suppose the draw is fresh milk on your doorstep twice a week. It’s 8 hours old when it hits the doorstep haha, I still just buy mines out the coop since it’s only a job that suits uni and family hours.

It's taken me well over 24 hours of not getting this joke before I figured out that you said "Warwick Davis", and not "Windsor Davies" as I had originally thought. As you were.

KnightswoodBear 10,490 Report post Posted December 24, 2019 I'm cooking Christmas dinner at my in-laws this year. I'm wfh today from their house. I'm currently sat in the kitchen with the turkey cooking in the oven and a pot of stock bubbling away for the gravy made with the giblets, with Classic FM on. It's all very pleasant.
