Reasons to be Cheerful

Recommended Posts

Half day at work tomorrow then through to Glasgow to spend the night for an early morning flight to Barcelona.

Two weeks of lazing, drinking, eating, walking, and sightseeing amongst lovely people in a wonderful, vibrant city.

Absolutely chucking in down in London and there are loads of people at Buckingham Palace having a picnic in torrential rain to celebrate the birthday of a 90 year old German woman that their taxes pay for.

The last time I saw pictures of so many people dressed up like that was when ebola was a thing.

Especially hilarious is the fact that the monarch has a second birthday in June specifically so that the weather will be nice for all the proles out celebrating. What a shame.

Had to drop something off at Post Office and pub over the road selling all beers at $5 a pint. Seems they do it every 2 weeks so they can clean the pipes. Every second Tuesday arvo at The Dan in North Adelaide might become habit forming.

An actual pint? or a schooner or pot or whatever terminology you use in the sticks?

First venue for an inaugural Aussie P&B Pub crawl?

An actual imperial pint and not a stupid South Aussie 425ml pint which I think is a schooner in NSW. Pub is in North Adelaide and within walking 5-10 minutes walking (sober) distance there are another 6 pubs and 15-20 minutes another 5 plus loads of other places licensed to serve grog.
