Don’t mean to get personal, but how much interest do people pay to these scumbags?

I usually don’t pay them that much interest but I have read about this on the BBC website.

I've never been on this thread before.

Anyway, they're in trouble because so many folk have successfully claimed against them for irresponsible lending.

No. You'd still owe the money, but to the administrators instead of Wonga, and you'd still have to pay.

Anyway, you don't want to get involved with such companies.

I actually applied to them last week as I needed money for booking flights and accommodation for the Pars game in Boreham Wood. Got rejected! Ended up getting a loan from another company and due to my massively shit credit rating it was one of the only ones who would lend to me, although obviously at a much worse rate. I am a fucking idiot.

But I was skint and desperate. Will be paying the fucker off for a few months amd paying back almost double what I borrowed.

I'm a fucking clown.

I mean this is a genuine way not trying to put the boot in..... do you have an "issue" - like poor self control or something. What keeps you going back to payday lenders for non-essentials?

Yes, I have an issue.

Cool. Didn't mean to pry

It's fine. There was some thread a few months back where I posted the payday loans I've had. It added up to something mental like 12 grand in total (across a few years).

I acknowledge that I'm a fucking idiot

Petrol pumps that let you key in how much you want to buy, before you start filling up.

Let's you avoid having to concentrate, like a boss.

I just fill until it cuts out. f**k going more often than you need too.

You're a manager.  Not everyone has your enormous wealth ( I do ) to invest in petroleum.

Visiting a Petrol station is such a joyous experience.   Today I learnt every JET petrol station provide you with a free air freshener with every £10 spend at the pumps.   Got 4 of the wee fresheners strategically positioned in my Ceed.

Folk who type on their mobile using their forefinger. Don't know why really but it amuses me. Though I expect those people will get the last laugh when all us 'thumb users' end up with carpal tunnel.

Day off today. Next exam on Tuesday so a nice, study free, long weekend in front of me.

Further boosted by an invite out this evening for curry and beer.

:)
