There's a new place called The View, used to be McTavish's Kitchen on the front, I know the owner and he has made the place look excellent.

Also try Aully's, The Oban Inn and head to The Lorne later on. They used to have a curfew at about 11/12 o'clock where you had to be in a pub by that time or you couldn't get in anywhere. Don't know if it still stands though.
