It's not a crossbreed, they can't cross. Some of them just are a bit reddish. If you're nowhere near red habitat I think feeding greys is OK tbh.

Dirty racist squirrel b*****ds.

That's it; no more nuts.

Seems to be some crossbreed. One's about 50/50 with big red stripes, and another has a grey body and red head. Very odd, like he had another squirrel's head transplanted onto his body.

I have cats and a dug, so they'd better think twice. Also, I've eaten squirrel before, and it was quite tasty.

I'll get the spare room sorted in case this one drops by, however...

Aye, so Mixu says.

I'm awaiting the inevitable joke about Alloa and inter-breeding

Edit: I'll see if I can get pictures tomorrow. Tried a few days ago, but they didn't turn out too well.

People who know about these things tell me squirrels are a pain in the arse to peel. Apparently, it's very difficult to avoid getting loose hairs from the pelt stuck to the meat and that's then a faff to remove. A lot of work for not much reward. However, if you have people to do that sort of thing for you, it's quite a tasty stew.
