If you're nowhere near red habitat I think feeding greys is OK tbh. Dirty racist squirrel b*****ds. That's it; no more nuts.

One's about 50/50 with big red stripes, and another has a grey body and red head. Very odd, like he had another squirrel's head transplanted onto his body. I have cats and a dug, so they'd better think twice. Also, I've eaten squirrel before, and it was quite tasty. I'll get the spare room sorted in case this one drops by, however... I'm awaiting the inevitable joke about Alloa and inter-breeding Edit: I'll see if I can get pictures tomorrow. Tried a few days ago, but they didn't turn out too well. Rizzo
We went for a wee drive to Ayrshire today to see two rehabilitated seal pups being released. I have a massive soft spot for seals, they're so comical.

Shotgun
People who know about these things tell me squirrels are a pain in the arse to peel. Apparently, it's very difficult to avoid getting loose hairs from the pelt stuck to the meat and that's then a faff to remove. A lot of work for not much reward. However, if you have people to do that sort of thing for you, it's quite a tasty stew.

pandarilla
I'm legitimately on this thread as I have a bonus day due to some weird Easter quirk. Very much appreciated as I've not long woke up and I'm feeling a bit sluggish. Hopefully I have a bit more perk tomorrow.

Dan Steele
I saw a guy out walking today. He was wearing a beanie hat, a bright blue Rab microlight jacket, camouflage shorts over black men's tights and bright orange trainers. Fairly cheered me up.
