Great to see. Young is proving the doubters all wrong and making the moaners (myself included) eat their words game by game. The games I saw in the league cup at the start of the season were horrendous and I was worried by our start in the league but winning 5 in a row is not to be sniffed at. Amazing what sticking two up top and men on the posts at corners can do eh?

Yesterday's game is the kind of game we would have lost at the start of the season, struggling to score goals and throwing them in at our own end.
Its amazing what a bit of confidence can do for a team, always looking a threat going forward and the defence keeping clean sheets, add to that great options on the bench and you can see where that gets you 5 unbeaten, if we can stay clear of injuries it can be a really good season.
On a side note Docherty was well out of order yesterday and needs a doing from the manager, hardly kicked a ball all season and thinks he's still on penalties when hes been on the park 5 minutes, knew he would miss it after all the arguing, get it sorted Darren

How's Currie getting on for you guys? I see he's scored 3 in a row and still can't get a start, what's the reasoning behind that? Has he had a knock or something or just not changing a winning team?

It's

Actually!!!

He's just not breaking into a winning team at the moment, that's all it is, he's more than good enough but that's 5 in a row we've won with the same starting lineup and tactics and at the moment he's suffering from the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" scenario!!!

But he's in good company, the Club Captain is sitting beside him on the bench at the moment and tends to come on with him around the same point in the game, then the pair of them tend to run riot on a softened up and bruised defence!!!

His chance will come and we will be delighted when it does, but it's going to take an injury, suspension or serious loss of form to either Court or Dowds for that to happen!!!

Cheers, makes total sense. Glad to see he's doing well.
