The Real Saints
After a disastrous start to the season, Celtic will be gutted that their first league match is against the Scottish Cup champions. It looks like things will only get worse for them.
Bing (2)
In what way does it benefit the other teams in every way possible? 'If' they get to the Group stages, there is some £ to be divied up amongst the clubs. Same as any time a club gets to the CL groups. More amusing is the unseen Orange Hand............ http://legia.com/zawodnik,1152-bartosz_bereszynski.html d.o.b. 12th of July :D ^^ what an apt apt line..............
BillyAnchor
We would have beaten them today they are so bad but they will get better, probably by the time we first play them.

The Real Saints
Who were they again? ... apart from not Celtic. You know. You know exactly who we are. Now, say our name.
Benjamin_Nevis
You sound like Bennett ... he has the same obsession. You'd like him as he's on the same level as you. As do you. Your performance on this thread is exactly the same as the child-like, simplistic pish he posts on the BRALT. You truly are brethren.
CityDave
So why could the Celtic v Partick game not be held at Murrayfield?
WhiteRoseKillie
So why could the Celtic v Partick game not be held at Murrayfield? Surely common sense would have had it at Firhill, and the reverse fixture at Park head? Or is that too simple for our game's authorities?
CityDave
Surely common sense would have had it at Firhill, and the reverse fixture at Park head? Or is that too simple for our game's authorities? I mentioned that earlier in the thread, but is it not traditional for the champions to play at 'home' on the first day?. Right now Celtic are homeless.
Chipper
In what way does it benefit the other teams in every way possible? The SPL teams get a split of £2m Celtic play more games which gives teams better chance of beating us Co-Efficent. Only a mindless moron who hates Celtic more than they love there own club would want them to fail year after year.

Only a mindless moron who hates Celtic more than they love there own club would want them to fail year after year. So the league will be more even and competitive because £2m would divided by 11teams whereas circa £20m goes directly to a Club that's financial resources already dwarf those of the other 11? Mindless morons right enough.
Dr Koop
Surely common sense would have had it at Firhill, and the reverse fixture at Park head? Or is that too simple for our game's authorities? That would have meant deferring the flag ceremony until ... oh, hang on.
CityDave
TBF ... most fans have no clue about the flag. It needs

sjc
The same fantasy world that you'd somehow compete if Celtic didn't get it. Apart from a few odd years ... this gap you yearn to close has always existed; long before CL money. Losing the money benefits nobody ... the negative argument is utter codswallop. Celtic not gaining the money benefits the rest of the league.......the £2m divided to the 11 other Clubs is fairly insignificant in comparison to the £20m going to Celtic. Surely this isn't hard to grasp?
Monkey Tennis
Benefits them how? The gap has existed and always will with or without the money. But it's bigger with it. Why the Hell is this difficult?
