stumigoo
United sign a contract extention with both Calor and GA Engineering http://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/index.asp?tm=2&nid=4794#.U16D9hAg5fA.facebook Hooray! I've grown to not mind the giant black Calor logo on the front of our kits, at least it is better than the first year where it was red, that was horrific! Twinkle
Hooray! I've grown to not mind the giant black Calor logo on the front of our kits, at least it is better than the first year where it was red, that was horrific! Yep, truly woeful strip design. Thankfully they have sorted that out with our recent ones. Not much mention of money but that might come out in the press in the next few days

Alert Mongoose
Stephen Rennie, Managing Director of Calor commented: "Calor is strongly linked with exceptional energy production and that has been mirrored in Dundee United's performances on the pitch. The youthful exuberance shown by the team is exactly the kind of energy we can relate to."
peeeel
United are trying to sign Denny Johnstone from Celtic, he is out of contract and has turned down a new deal with Celtic, today this was made public knowledge. From Liam Kennedy... I know."The Hoops are likely to want more than £100,000 for their asset, while United are miles from that valuation. That could see the first transfer tribunal involving two top flight clubs for 15 years."

Desert Nomad
If rumors are to be believed Charlie Telfer will sign with United after rejecting a new deal at Rangers. Assume some sort of development fee would be due to Rangers though?
lionel hutz
If rumors are to be believed Charlie Telfer will sign with United after rejecting a new deal at Rangers. Assume some sort of development fee would be due to Rangers though? no as rangers needed to offer him a contract by a certain date. They didn't. stumigoo
Apparently Rangers 'forgot' to offer him a new deal, but to be fair they have a full-time squad of about 438 so it is an easy mistake to make.
AberdeenBud
If rumors are to be believed Charlie Telfer will sign with United after rejecting a new deal at Rangers. Assume some sort of development fee would be due to Rangers though? Surely only a two year development fee as he was at a different club before that. Would be funny just for the seethe if United pursued that angle.
Twinkle
This years supporters match is at Tannadice, a week today. Hopefully some of P&B's resident posters from either club can attend. Should be another great nights football with us looking to repeat our victory from last years inaugural challenge match. This was mentioned during half time at last nights home game to Aberdeen so the more people aware of it happening, the better

Another case of the big teams poaching the wee teams' best youngsters, best to learn his trade with another couple of years in the lower leagues IMO. harry94
Jackie happy in Dundee tangerine for now? Blackpool isn't much of a draw anyway, imo. Really hope he gets pinched by someone but Blackpool are in a state off the pitch and he'd be mad to go.
Smeato
Holding out for when Rangers eventually return to the top flight and Neil Lennon gets the chop. Edit: posted this more tongue in cheek, but if he kept up the current success rate at Dundee Utd, with a cup and possible 2nd place finish next season then I don't see why Celtic wouldn't have him.
