1st half of season 6 should be on Amazon some time today(1 or 2 episodes a week), with  the the 2nd half some time in 2020 and that will be it

Probably for the best. I still love the show but ever since the departure of Ragnar it's not been hitting the same heights. Season 6 has started okay. Interested to see what happens with Hvitserk and his descent into madness.

Well that was extremely disappointing.
Don’t actually care what happens in 2nd half now.

Agree with this. It really doesnt matter now. No one to root for. The sons of Ragnar, Bjorn aside are largely a disappointment.

Hvitserk story has been rubbish. Nobody cares about edge from the wrestling or the new character that has been introduced.

No sign of Rollo or Floki. Did Harald need to force himself upon bjorns wife if there was no scope for Bjorn to get revenge?

Did Harald and Bjorn really expect to win the battle just standing on a hill firing arrows?

ive started on the new anti superhero thing “The Boys” it’s looking promising. Will soften the blow of that awful ending.

Hvitserk is a wrestler,  no wonder I don't like the character.

Archery played an important part in medieval battles, the stupid bit is that they always break shield wall and end up with individual skirmishes.  Also not one of them owns a set of chainmail, they seem to prefer the mad max look.

Was good for the first few seasons,  its basically a soap opera now.

I had been really interested to see where this would go but they have gone for less historical accuracy and killing off the best characters. I'll stick with it as we are 6 season in but don't think I'll watch another if it doesn't pick up

The next half of the season is the last of the series. So you've only got 10 episodes to go.

Then there's a new series Vikings: Valhalla that's meant to be set about a 100 years after the original and will be on Netflix.

f**k sake. Just finished the last episode of Season 6 Part 1 there.

Gutted. Bjorn was the best lad by far. He made mistakes but was at heart a good guy.

Ivar has been more bearable this season. In season 5 all he did was just scream and it was incredibly annoying. Still can't wait for the wee shitebag to get offed though. Oh, and they need to make up their minds if he can walk or not!

Hvitserk is a wee bitch. Unless he kills Ivar he is a totally pointless character.

Didn't see the need for Ivar and Oleg et al to sail up river, climb a mountain then arrive back at the original beach. They could have just sailed up the coast a couple of hundred metres then did that. It's not like there was anyone in Harald's town to actually take by surprise anyway. Pointless.

Thought that Bjorn might have asked Rollo for a hand, or even Alfred. Looks like England no longer exists though, as those characters seem to have been binned.

Not bothered about the trip to Greenland. The Iceland stuff is meh as well. Edge and the ex missionary are hiding something but most likely that something is that they found Floki's body. Although given the real history it seems that Ubbe won't actually go to Greenland, or at least not make it. Could we see Gunnhild somehow make it to Iceland and tell Ubbe what happens? He could then stop off in Wessex, pick up some lads, do the same in Francia, then fire over to Norway. We'll see.

Is the conclusion of Vikings really going to be about Ivar versus Oleg?
