You were going to stick Reynard and his ilk on cattle trucks.

Reynard referred to a connection between the SNP (in the 30s) and the Nazis.

And compared the Yes voters here to the occupants of Hitlers bunker. You should really pay more attention or stop selectively remembering things.

What's more he hasn't even managed to explain what, if any, connection there was between the SNP and the Nazis in the thirties. Hint: there was none.

Hypocriseeeeeee.

Reynard makes frequent Nazi references.

I'll take your word for it - I'm not on this thread very often as it has little interest to me personally, in that I can't vote and my views on whether Scotland should remain in the Union or secede is of no interest to those that can (vote). I have no right in trying to influence the vote one way or the other. I don't stalk the board looking for Reynard's posts, either, so I've no idea if he's a Nazi-jibe-thrower.

I dropped into the thread yesterday for some reason - I can't remember now - and had about 10 pages to catch up on which I skimmed through, and came into it again today but your "cattle trucks" analogy caught my eye.

Rest assured, he is. If he doesn't like to take it back, he shouldn't give it out. I notice that he's vanished since he was asked to explain his own nazi claim...

Whatever you say. I was replying to xbl's post, there was no mention of "Hitler's bunker" in his query.

Shipping people off on cattle trucks is slightly different to comparing people to having the mentality of the occupiers of Hitler's bunker.

I'll save you the bother - signed by hypocritical quisling collaborator

Perhaps he's working

Or he's maybe a bit more sense than the occupants of Hitler's bunker and hypocritical, quisling collaborators and enjoying the sunshine...

As in he was saying you were in denial, not fascist, no?

...and the "cattle wagons" comment was clearly tongue in cheek. If you treat both comments similarly and unbiasedly, that is. And you're not a total hypocrite.

Cool. So the "Hitler's bunker" point was alright in your book yeah?

Well clearly it was alright with you lot. Else surely someone would have commented on it previously?

I didn't see it as a nazi jibe, but one his percieved delusio of indy supporters. Dunno what he;s on about interms of the SNP in the 30/40s though.

I actually skip past a lot of you and Reynard these days - reminds me of the glory days of the Old Firm Forum!

It is though, isn't it? Reynard has more than once referred to the SNP as "National Socialists", to name just one of his references, with nary a word whispered in protest. So I treat him as he treats others, and suddenly people think this is beyond the pale? Absurd.

The problem with Reynard is that you just can't take a thing he says seriously. He has made a total laughing stock of himself on pretty much every non-football related topic he has posted on. I also think he phrases a lot of things deliberately to get a reaction, and that puts him on a par with the likes of, say, H_B and VikingTON, rather than people like you who are looking to be taken seriously.

I think it was called a couple of ages ago when someone said that he only says what he does so as he can come on and boast about it and say "I was right!" if that vote comes along.

Its nice that some people think that I am not on a par with the others you've mentioned!

In this case, my comment was deliberately aimed right at Reynard, riffing off his frequent Nazi jibes. It wasn't just indiscriminately made, I mean I'm an independence supporter, why would I make Nazi allusions with regard to independence, but it was carefully targeted. Therefore, I will defend my use of Nazi jibes with someone who makes plenty of his own Nazi jibes.

Maybe we could actually discuss the issues, eh?

Indeed.

How big a defeat are you expecting here? I reckon you'll scrape 40% on the day. Maybe I'm being generous though?
