Why have they chosen Dallas Reserves vs Philadelphia Reserves as one of the two Saturday games?

Both teams still have something to play for. An Eagles loss opens the door for the Saints, and Dallas can improve their seeding with a win and other results going their way, I think.

A much simpler and more likely explanation is simply - TV Ratings.  If it was about playoff implications then they would have raiders v chargers.

Eagles make the playoffs even if they lose (unless NFL playoff machine is wrong), New Orleans can only qualify at the expense of San Francisco. Dallas are guaranteed to be seeded 2-4 so not a huge amount of difference unless someone upsets Green Bay in the Divisional Round.

I was going from the NFL app, so they are wrong somewhere!

The Saturday game that makes no sense is the KC/Denver one. It's meaningless beyond KC having to play for No.1 seed if the Titans screw up. San Fran v LAR, and even Pittsburgh v Baltimore would have made far more sense, but f**k that when the NFL can give the Chiefs an extra day off before the playoffs.

It makes sense to have KC playing first when they don't know their destiny. If the Titans were to play first, and win, it renders the KC match irrelevant.

To be fair the league have been unlucky that so many potential points of interest have been rendered moot by recent results. Arizona chucking the number one seed away by losing to dross like the Lions before recovering to f**k over the Cowboys being the main example.

If the NFL was worried about fairness in the fight for the AFC 1st seed they should have had KC and Tenn playing at the same time. If Pittsburgh wins tonight, then Pitt v Baltimore next week is a do-or-die eliminator for both that doesn't affect anything for any other team, so that really should have been the game flexed if you are concerned about fairness. KC has already qualified for the playoffs regardless, Denver is eliminated, so the outcome of that game doesn't change the fact that the NFL have ostensibly handed KC an extra day's rest over every other AFC playoff contender. At least had they flexed the game in Baltimore it's still unlikely either team makes the playoffs in the first place, but because they both still have an outside chance the league can't really be accused of favouring one specific team.

Chargers have had practically every player on the roster besides Herbert return a positive test at some point over the past three weeks, so it would be surprising if they had a sudden surge in cases this week, but yeah, I don't want to watch a game between two sets of practice squad stiffs decide a playoff place.

Planning ahead for the super bowl. Hoping to get together with a few mates in Edinburgh and watch it. Anyone any recommendations for a bar that will be showing it?

Wouldn't you rather watch the Cardinals lose to the Chiefs in the comfort, and solitude, of your own living room?

Praying no Covid for the Raiders and chargers. I’d like a fair fight

Just the small matter of (another) DUI though. This time for standout rookie Nate Hobbs.

This season off the field, jeezo.
