Looking at the divisions it is clear that the AFC has far greater strength in depth. The NFC looks to have three or four really good teams but there is no reason why a fan of any NFC team can't hold out hopes of sneaking a playoff place. Especially with the fourteen team format, it is wide open. Evidence: Da Bears made it last year despite being shite for at least half the season.

Making playoffs with Trubisky at the helm has all the makings of an inspirational & heart warming single season netflix series.
