As now under investigation for breaking the Rooney rule for their last two hires despite one of their new hires being female which means they did not break the Rooney rule for that hire . This is the second time this off season that the guys in charge of making sure the Rooney rule is adhered too has charged the Washington franchise. The other time was with the hire of Rivera... who is of Hispanic heritage, which once again meant they did not break the rule. TBF they have been cracking down on teams interviewing token candidates to comply with the Rooney rule. When they saw that you were interviewing Rivera that would have been foremost in their minds and paperwork was probably issued before the hire.
