Rams have extended Brandin Cooks and Todd Gurley this week. Hopefully Donald is next...

$60million, $45million guaranteed for Gurley. Not bad

It's a 4 year extension on top of his already 2 years remaining. We get him for the prime of his career at $11.9m per over the next 6 years. It's a lot in the context of an RB but not a lot in the context of a superstar at any other position. I think it's actually a really fair deal for both sides.

It'll certainly put pressure on the Steelers with Bell

Nah they've basically told him to bolt have they not? Asking too much money. I'd rather have Gurley than Bell anyway. Might help Bell realise what he's actually worth though.

Bell is worth more than Gurley.

Gurley has zero off field concerns and 600 less career touches. I wouldn't feel comfortable tying any RB down for 6 years but I'd take Gurley over Bell.

Getting excited now with the new season just over a month away (not counting pre-season games). Looking at the first week what do you think will be the picks for the Sunday evening games?

Jags @ Giants and Seattle @ Denver?
