Sons' sorrow

Mind when Alan Jardine told us that Brabco were the best thing for the club because the Hosie's were involved, and that he'd already "chased away" apparent Irish shysters who flew in on a helicopter to try and make a deal. Really glad we avoided those shysters.

Callum might have been ok but Andy is an out and out rogue.

Beat me to it.

NMrMt wanting to get Div or P&B into trouble, but I think it is safe to say that Mr Sweeney 'has form'.

His time at Privilege Wealth in particular. That company has plenty of Google entries.

Mr Heaney has serious form too when it comes to Dumbarton FC.  Always happy to wax about the good old days and the good old boys at Boghead, he was not shy in shitstirring when editor of the Lennox Herald.  His football allegiances lie elsewhere and he is no true supporter of DFC - it is a worrying situation but everyone should consider that.

The problem of course, as we’ve been saying for weeks and weeks, is the absence of any visible presence from the new owners and lack of communication creates a vacuum in which End of the World articles like the one penned by Good Labour Man Heaney appear.

As it happens I wouldn’t be surprised if much of what he said is true. The Cognitive takeover has been pretty troubling, almost from the word go. And the subsequent Companies House manoeuvres only serve to heighten a sense of deepening anxiety.

As ever, we now look to the Trust to try and pry out whatever information they can from the club and share it with supporters.

And of course this would all begin to seep out in a moment where we were actually beginning to feel reasonably optimistic about the forthcoming season. FFS.

Ooft... Bill Heaney's article has disappeared from his blog.

Bill Heaney is an attention seeking a$$hole. As others have stated, his football allegiances reside elsewhere and he does not have Dumbarton FC's interests at heart.

It had disappeared briefly earlier, definitely.

I had left a nice comment which was deleted 😂

Eta - Heaney has edited the article
