Let's be honest, Dumbarton have had a fairly good time vs Hartley over the years. He is definitely in my top 3 of managers I most like getting one over on. Since that bitter display of petulance when we handed his Alloa teams their arses back to them on a plate.
In some way, it isn't that much of a surprise that he is in charge of a team who get overly physical and equally petulant when things don't go their way. They will do themselves a big favour if they realise that no team has any entitlement, at this level, of beating anyone else.

At least this time he didn't run down the touchline to block one of our players from taking a long throw in.

If only Letheren hadn’t made that amazing save (from I think Prunty?) at the death, we would’ve officially ended Hartley’s career there and then.

I’m not sure we’d have made it out of Dens alive though.

Cove meltdowns making yesterday quite a bit better. If anyone more IT savvy than me could make a clip of that ridiculous shot from 40 yards from yon Cove lad accompanied by Hartley shouting "f**k off" that would allow me to play it continuously on a loop for the rest of the weekend.

Their official match report is great reading too.

I'll try sort that for you.

While on the subject of  glorious things on loop.

I wondered that myself. But then what's the point in even having those at the side of the pitch in the first place if they aren't numbered or initialled?

It wasn't a big thing. It just looked a bit bizarre!

I assume that’s the reason they’re using actual bottles rather than sports water bottles. Throw them out sealed, each player takes one and only one, dump out the remainder.

I can’t imagine the other protocols at Cove’s (our) level make it worthwhile though.

Yes that'll be it I'm afraid.

I'll send Pixellot an email and see if I can get a reason for it not working on Smart TV.

Maybe/hopefully it's something they are working on. They are quite proactive so fingers crossed it's something they're doing.

I'll keep you posted.

Just giving feedback on this.  I'm using the Internet browser on my smart tv and the streams have been absolutely sound for me so far.

Our training gear looks great. Shame we don’t seem to sell it, I would’ve definitely bought it.

I agree, nice enough concept of kit and maybe the more mature fan would be inclined to buy replica trading kit, but get that f****** yellow to f*** away from my club.

Get it away off the kit, that ball, and that post and chain are making my eyes bleed. 🤬🤬

Why do folk get so hung up on the yellow/gold thing? Is it such a massive deal? Historically we’ve had loads of kits that are more yellowish than gold and a lot of them have been nice.

I prefer the gold of the 70's tops to the yellow we have this year and have had for many years. The yellow Methode top is iconic for me though, despite it being possibly one of our most horrible tops in colour and design. Looking back at our kits, we appear to move to a yellow colour in 88 before reverting back to the gold. It was actually the white kit in the late 90s that appear to have brought about the permanent change to yellow from gold. I don't think it's a massive deal but I do think the gold looks smarter.
