Jim the groundsman will be delighted with that, to be fair to Jim Duffy he did say at the start he would try and get somewhere else to train as soon as he could to save the park. I saw it yesterday and it looks fine, nothing like the way it look in ppppthat video.

150 quid for a subscription to the streaming service for the season. There will also be the option of PPV for both home and away fans. Season ticket holders will have access to everything.

That seems very reasonable.I guess fans will be able to pay for individual games like the away fans can if they don't want to pay for the virtual ST.

Working that out to a little over £11.50 per game which is probably reasonable. Would imagine a PPV cost would be around £12/£13 based on that.

Really excited about this being a fan south of the border who struggles to get to many games nowadays. Hopefully it will continue after Covid in some form.

What's the scoop with the away games - can we PPV the Forfar game for example ?

Think it will be a case of going on to Forfar site and buying the game from them.

I thought the whole of Scottish football was using Pixellot this season?

Some clubs already offered streaming of games outside UK/Ireland and are just continuing with that. Ourselves and Falkirk in L1 off the top of my head.

Nope,  several clubs have realised how shit it is and used other methods.

The majority of clubs offering non pixelot streaming already had a streaming service in place so that’s a load of shite. They didn’t watch a random test stream from one of the clubs who have it and decide “that’s pish, we’ll go with a cameraman and an expensive camera”.

For us, and many others, the Pixelot service is the easiest and most affordable.

It’s also by far the worst way to provide streaming.   You can film on a phone and stream it on periscope and provide a far better service.

Any club expecting fans to pay for a piss poor pixellot stream are insane,  you might get away with charging a pound or two but anything more then that will only get first time viewers.  Nobody is going to pay £10 and be happy with what is provided.

The expense of buying a half decent camera is far less than what you’d get back from having a satisfied group of fans paying for an acceptable stream.

Don’t buy it then.

Out of interest, how many full streams have you watched? Not to mention if you have watched any they are test streams that are being used for calibration purposes etc.

You got any prices at hand with regard to how much it actually costs to buy a good camera and set up a streaming service? Na, didn’t think so.

Your first paragraph is utter nonsense tbh.
