taurus
The Mosconi cup started tonight with no love lost between the sides . Think it makes great tv .
H_B
I'm watching... good pantomime stuff.... Not the same without Strickland though. Even as non-playing captain, he'd have been worth a go.
taurus
Aye Strickland winds everybody up , pity he's missing .
meanmistermustard
Never been a fan of Strickland. I know it was deliberate but he really irritated me. I liked it when Steve Davis was involved but that was a while back. Been really close so far and Europe could have just as easily have been ahead by the same score. Should nicely heat up over the next two days for some great entertainment.
Raven
Find Hatch more of a wind up merchant than Strickland ever was-but it's just part of the act from him. All good entertainment. Looking forward to getting down there on Wednesday.

robosaintee
I adore the Mosconi cup. The professionals always make 9 ball look so simple. Me and my brother always have a game of 9 ball on boxing day and will do well to clear up once each in 2 hours! I always feel like a superstar when I do though! Also, it's hilarious how bad some if the Americans are at using the rest. Guys that are professional pool players, absolutely terrified when they have to get the rest out! Hope this Greek boy wins but I don't think he will. It's just a matter of keeping the scores close for the singles last day.

The ball still goes in even though the 5 hit the cushion about half way up! Tight pockets my arse.

It wouldn't have dropped on a snooker table .
robosaintee
Well played there to get it back to 4-3. I fancy Europe for this next doubles match too.
taurus
Another one falls in after hitting the cushion half way between the middle bag and the top .
Neilly
Big Hatch is getting the crowd wound up The American pull one back but you would still have to strongly fancy Feijen and VDB to get the job done here.

robosaintee
Great three ball plant there. America seem to be struggling in the singles which is unusual for them!
