It was fine. Couple of proper laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed the odd reference to earlier series. Sort of in jokes if you will.

Cat getting converted into believing lister is god was tremendous. Overall a decent watch but they can't write as good as they did in the first 6 seasons.

Even though a few of the jokes fell a bit flat or they ripped the arse out of them (hello, giant cat flap) I really enjoyed it.

Norman Lovett absolutely stole the show.  His deadpan delivery always cracks me up.

Not so much "they" as "he". There used to be two writers, Doug Naylor and Rob Grant, writing collectively under the pseudonym "Grant Naylor". They have since gone their separate ways and now Doug Naylor writes the episodes alone.

It's an amazing coincidence that the quality nose dived off a cliff when Grant left.

There is also a couple of USA pilots. Only Robert Llewellyn, Kryten, was in it from the UK cast. No surprise its awful and never went any further.
