12 seconds of pure, unadulterated real life Partridge. You cannot convince me that this isn’t either an advert or a tribute for “This Time” coming back

Richard Madeley does a good job too.

Anyone have the clip where Madeley tells his daughter she was an accident? "Well, you were."

Everything Richard Madeley says reminds me of Alan Partridge when he’s explaining James Bond in the caravan, and says ‘...and then it cuts to James, Roger Moore... and yes, he’s with a lady’.

The one where Ruth pretends to have an awkward time lapse with Alan only to immediately reply to Jennie at the end of her piece trumps them all.

Yeap, that one was brilliant.

Raging that Sam guy was back on last night. I thought that after the episode where the former presenter died Alan, needless to say, had the last laugh. I hope it doesn't end up badly from here, I kind of like the newer version of Partridge where he's actually sort of successful and the desperation of the character comes across in other ways.

Solid enough start. The Sidekick Simon segment was my favourite part. Tim Key was superb as usual.

Anything involving the touch screen TV is brilliant. Loved the bit from the last series where they were talking about gender equality and when they went to Sidekick Simon he only showed all the mother in law jokes that had been sent in on Twitter  ...’well don’t say it in a jaunty voice’.

‘WITH CONVICTION!’

It gets better every time I watch it.

I’ve watched season one numerous times over, probably 10 times at least, and there is always some subtle joke that I pick up for the first time.
