Read all about it - Man finds 126 year old Pars medal in a field.

Were Kirkcaldy Wanderers some early incarnation of the wee team? It may have been 126 years ago but it just brightened up my day to learn that we (albeit our second team) stuck nine goals past them.

I'm afraid not.

The modern Raith Rovers were founded in 1883 in the Scottish town of Kirkcaldy, playing at Robbie's Park. Though there were other teams who incorporated the town name, such as Kirkcaldy Wanderers and Kirkcaldy United, Raith became the most successful of the local teams, winning five trophies in the 1890s.[1] There had been a much earlier (and unrelated) Raith Rovers which merged with what is now Cowdenbeath in 1882.

So this mob must have been the very, very wee team?

As expected 2 match ban for husband. Getting back into the team won't be easy for him.

Extra couple of nights in Partners for him though! Well planned IMO.

My second column for The Away End about the Pars. Would love feedback from you guys (good or bad) or to let me know what you think I should write about next month.

Yeah, a good article. If possible it would be nice to read a bit more about the Pars United group as a whole in your next piece.

How are you boys getting on down here? Everything ok? We've got a wee buffet on the go up in the Championship forum - would you like me to bring you some sandwiches and a few sausage rolls?

Just bring us what you have and we'll square you up later.

Surely an "exclusive" about your night of passion with Hayden Panettiere would make a great story?!?!?

Maybe one of the tabloids would pick it up and run with the story? :thumsup2

Good idea but it's not really relevant to Dunfermline Athletic.

Sevconian and general buffoon Chic Young made a faux pas earlier on radio today when he stated that the Championship would be a a really good division with the likes of Dundee, Morton, Queen Of The South and Dunfermline. Ignorant, lazy and incompetent. He did apologise after it was presumably pointed out to him off air. But even so, it was poor. Too busy with wanking over Sevco and Celtic.

An ill advised visit to DAFC.net (my first in months) has shown that many of our fans somehow think that we DON'T have a soulless legoland type stadium. It's my own fault for going to that slavering cesspit, but what the f**k?!

Serves you right.

Indeed. I knew what it was like, yet I still went there.

For a good laugh, I strongly urge you to read this thread in the junior forum; http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/204721-back-to-the-dark-days/

It describes a massive rammy at a junior game yesterday that was kicked off when someone threw a bucket of shit at someone else. Seemingly someone was hit with a child's scooter in the head, bags of vomit were thrown, buckets were being chucked around, the boards used for the raffle were used as weapons and other amusing stuff. It's actually massively vile yet utterly hilarious. I was almost crying with laughter reading through it.

I don't think it's soulless...
