Stellaboz
Same team on Saturday? It's hard to say otherwise even though I'd rate Comrie far above McDonald at RWB. Midfield surely stays as it is and Wighton/Todorov looked like it was working much better.
FBadgers
Airdrie strike me as a more attacking team than Arbroath. As a result think Comrie is the better defender so would go for him back in, otherwise unchanged team.
Arab_R_us
Hearing several Championship and League of Ireland clubs are in for Mochrie. Maybe its time for him to try his hand at a higher level
parsforlife
I'd like to keep hold of him but you could see why united would want him out on loan to the championship instead. He had an agents video posted on youtube fairly recently so clearly someone is trying to attract interest.
Salvo Montalbano
Is he out of contract at the end of the season? Might be worth asking the question for next season. Even an agreement where if we don't go up he can go elsewhere.
Stellaboz
If he is off in January I'd like to think Hosler could offer something similar in that role.

I think we could push Todd further up the park to replace him, Todd is a bigger goal threat than Mochrie or we move Hosler into that role, so he's not irreplaceable.
Grant228
Arab r us posts allot about Mochrie so I'd imagine his information is about as ITK as it gets. If I'm being brutally honest, I'm not sure I'd have Mochrie in my starting eleven. He's got fantastic natural talent with the ball at his feet but there's more to football than that.

Aye, he pretty much called the summer loan spot on, I’d treat his posts pretty seriously.
Stoo61
Mochrie starts for me but push Matty on, Hamilton and Chalmers both get in the team and we don't miss him much.
VinnyPar
Technically Mochrie is the best player at the club, not having him in the first eleven is a wild shout
Rob1885
If Mochrie does leave in January, would happily see KRH or Todd get a run of games in that role. Would leave a wage to bring in a replacement aslo.
Stellaboz
Episode 5 of EastEndTales is out! I'm delighted to announce we have Andy Smith join us to talk about his time at the club, with a focus on the title winning game against Airdrie in '96. Elsewhere on the podcast, I can't get any current loanee players names correct, Stuart gives his strong feelings on 90s Airdrie and what position do we need to strengthen in January? McPake mentioned he's back doing some running but not ball work yet. I reckon we'll see him available again towards end of January at the earliest?

I think he’s meant to join in training end of next week, probably not the full session tho. I guess all going well he might just make the bench vs Falkirk but with McCann now back I could see that being delayed at least a week.
