TxRover
Whoops, forgot why I was here…didn’t see a note on this tidbit, thought I’d mention it. https://www.raithrovers.net/57662/jimmy-millar.htm https://dafc.co.uk/story.php?t=Jimmy+Millar+(1934-2022)&ID=14011
DAFC.
Great result for the youth team tonight: they thrashed Morton 5-1, with Grandson of God getting a hat-trick! If he is anything like his dad then we have won a watch.

If he is anything like his dad then we have won a watch. Noticed there was another Tod with one d in the line-up - another Grandson of God? And while 5-1 sounds like a rout, it was 1-1 after 90 mins and we then scored 4 without reply in extra time.

The Toun Clock
Watched the 5-1 goals from the youth team this morning, picture wasn't brilliant, but I think for one of Tod's goals he smashes it from the right-hand side of the box into the far corner, a superb strikers finish. Forget injuries to Wighton and Todorov, stick him up front like his old man. What position does he actually play? He was wearing 10 but I suppose that could be anywhere these days.

Absolute peach of a finish! The blonde looking lad up front looks like a player too, some quick footwork on show there.

Thought he was an attacking midfielder but looked in the highlights to be playing as an out and out striker.
DA Baracus
Scottish Cup draw is on Monday at 16.00. It's the third round which we enter, along with all of League 1 and the Championship. Here's the scores from today's 2nd round: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scottish-cup/scores-fixtures My dream is Wick away. However there's plenty of other excellent away days, to grounds and teams we've never visited and played, as well as some decent ties to grounds we've been at but not for a while. Almost certainly though we're getting Morton, Partick or Queen of The South. Edited October 22, 2022 by DA Baracus

Hill of Beath away would be a cracking tie for them - a full house and the possibility of being on TV - but aye, Wick away would be nice. Morton or Alloa are my predicted outcomes.

DAFC.
Fucking stick on we get Morton in the cup today.
DAFC.
Awk, that'll do. Was hoping for Hill of Beath or one of the Lowland League/ Pyramid teams, but we never seem to get those type of draws. Very rarely anyway.
DA Baracus
Forfar at home. Absolute pish but we might actually finally score a Scottish Cup goal and maybe even win a Scottish Cup game. -
par-adise
Really you want either a theoretically straight forward home tie or an interesting away one. So happy with that.
da_no_1
Home draw with a good chance of progression. How it can be classified as "pish" is quite bizarre. Edited October 24, 2022 by da_no_1

LoonsYouthTeam
Terrible draw for us, you'll win comfortably. I hope Tappy Toories is still doing the Andy Tod bombs so I can drown my sorrows afterwards.

We haven't scored since McManus left us the first time round, in the intervening period he won two medals then came back to us and was sold to Wales. Would hope for a change in our fortunes.
