Obviously, he's a Daftie in a similar way to Grant. Despite having big failures on his CV though, he does also have some serious managerial success to point to. His appointment actually has me believing it's possible that Dunfermline will remain pretty shite, whereas other appointments wouldn't have. At the same time, however, it's perfectly possible it'll go quite well, at least in the short term. If I was a Pars fan, I wouldn't be thrilled by this. It should be interesting though. I suspect that any change will make Dunfermline better, given that they could scarcely do worse with their current squad.
