The worst he can say is no. He'd potentially be a good fit for us. He had finished his time at Motherwell due to mental health issues, effectively burn out. But hopefully he's back in the game of life and healthy. Money is an obvious factor. The German consortium on the board demonstrated their commitment by putting up a considerable sum of money as equity. Although they'll put money in its always got to be sustainable and managed responsibly. I don't see us splashing big bucks on a showcase manager to appease fans. Take away the teams he’s been a coach at, when he’s been the manager it’s piss poor and not what we should be looking at to get out of the league. His CV doesn't scream success but he's a coaching manager and I would be interested to see what he could do having players full time and not just a couple of nights a week. No-one realistic stands out over others for being either awful or overly successful, all a much of a muchness. We're lucky to have a a lot of good players committed for next season already but hopefully someone in place soon, getting to important stage of the close season.
