Stellaboz 6,049 Report post Posted January 15 A point at Morton and Dundee apiece isn't so bad.
Stellaboz 6,049 Report post Posted January 15 Also Inverness away, with a win at home to Arbroath. It's not so bad.
DA Baracus 17,236 Report post Posted January 15 (edited) 1 win in 7 games isn't good enough. That's almost a third of the season. Edited January 15 by DA Baracus

Good starts are quickly wiped out by the awful, flat, shitebag stuff we serve up under such runs, and this is no different. Very frustrating and disappointing that it's still happening. I think it’s a big difference to be taking 8 points from these runs than the 0 we were taking before. Agreed it’s not great form, but providing we can go on a winning streak that has also been a factor in Crawford’s time then those extra points will be crucial. The run of games we have coming up is a great chance to do that.
Rob1885 1,080 Report post Posted January 16 Never looked like getting beat tonight, drawing too many games to make any real fist of a title challenge but still comfortably inside the play offs. Stevies at the wheel.

Stevies at the wheel. Wingers are just not doing enough and need some serious competition. Think both have been poor for months now. Fraser Murray is OK but not sure if he's a winger. Would like another option up front too. Some decent midfield options and the defence has looked a bit stonger last couple games. Think the management are doing a good job overall. They are developing players and not scared to change things in a game. Just a work in progress at the moment.
Stoo61 102 Report post Posted January 16 I'd settle for Thomas concentrating when he takes a corner. Unless he's aiming for the shins of the man at the front post....then, its relatively impressive.
DA Baracus 17,236 Report post Posted January 16 The wingers aren't getting enough of the ball for me. Another 'option' up front will make absolutely zero difference if we continue to play the way we are, as they'd also struggle with the lack of service and chances. McCann has shown that over the last two games (although he was unlucky with his one chance last night). I'm struggling to see what our style of play is at the moment. Also, get Thomas off of corners now. Someone else should be taking them now.
Stellaboz 6,049 Report post Posted January 16 McCann looks decent. Hopefully the Ayr game will be on next week and we'll get back to winning. Turner should start at least.
DAFC. 1,433 Report post Posted January 16 I’m confident we are in a good place to finish 2nd; drawing away games isn’t so bad as long as we’re winning our home games, which we have done, minus that shit show against Morton. It’s obviously a shorter season so there isn’t going to be much more room for error if we are serious about finishing 2nd. Tough double-header coming up which, in my opinion, will decide which direction we’ll be heading.
Stellaboz 6,049 Report post Posted January 16 9 points from the next two games will see us in good stead.
Rob1885 1,080 Report post Posted January 16 Should never have sold Nisbet IMO.
Black and White Tragic 643 Report post Posted January 16 Should never have sold Nisbet IMO.That would have been a mistake. An unhappy player who would leave at end of contract, for free, is not conducive to good performances (except maybe the last few games of season). The sell on clause was also a good move.

Chubbychops 392 Report post Posted January 16 (edited) Connor Shields scored two more for QOS this afternoon. Exactly the player we need. Get it done Stevie. Edited January 16 by Chubbychops

It would have made sense to offer the players Crawford though might get other offers all at once, only Comrie has been announced. Crawford has spoken a lot about the type of player he wants at the club and if he thinks Turner isn't committed to the cause then I think he will be looking to off load him. I would hope he bucks his ideas up and finishes the season as strongly as he started it before going on his merry way. -
