Walking Down The Halbeath Road

The club already said that the new Pixellot system is in place and will be ran by the ParsTV guys.

They also imply that the current plan is that the first round of fixtures will be in empty stadium or in stadiums with limited capacity.

It's all here:

Long time between now and October, though.

The Pars TV guys do their best but I’d also much prefer no commentary if possible.

Yup and the acknowledge that it can change, either for the better or worse, but there is a definite plan in place which means clubs can move forward.

The commentary is good for those who prefer it and vital for those who need it, so glad this will be provided, but I'm another who would prefer no commentary. Used to switch to just crowd noise back when I lived with my parents and they had Sky.

Not sure it would doable though unless a seperate mic was able to be set up somewhere.

Enjoyed hearing from previous players when they showed some older games in full, so would love to hear that sort of thing at half time for example if it was an option.

But they (ParsTV) do a good job, so whatever they can provide will be greatfully received.

I'll be waiting until it is confirmed by the relative authorities what is happening exactly before purchasing my season book. There is a plan, but a lot can change by October. It says in the government's exit strategy that in Phase 4 all sport can resume as normal (presumably with fans being able to attend in some capacity).

Just a thought!!!    Would Stevie Crawford see an assistant role at Tynecastle as a less shoogly position than the Pars No 1 ??         They have previous at MK Dons.

Not if he has any ambitions to make it as a manager himself.

Or stay in charge with us and do the Hearts role over Zoom? I liked hearing about how he does video calls with Barry Nic to talk tactics. Pure Caldwerwood era Pars porn.

Do you mean you're waiting until you know when games can be played with fans at the ground?

We know the kickoff date and the end date, so just a case of awaiting the fixture list and then seeing which games will be in empty stadiums, reduced capacity stadiums or with fans in as normal.

But impossible to tell now obviously.

I think if you go with the scenario of the first round of fixtures being in empty grounds or at the best having vastly reduced capacity you won't go wrong, and if things have moved on enough that fans are allowed in as normal it will be a bonus.

Just waiting to know exactly what is happening and once confirmed by SPFL. If games are behind closed doors for a bit I'll still buy a ticket, just waiting until everything is set in stone first before buying.

Same here, it’s not as if we are going to sell out.

Been a season ticket holder pretty much since the 80s but need to know what’s happening in full.

Its not going to be 'set in stone' though is it? All they can do is plan for expectations. At the moment that is for closed doors for 1st 9 games and attendances by Jan. Therw may be a 2nd spike and a 2nd lockdown. There may be a vaccine and all back to normal. There may be earlier access to grounds. Nobody can confirm that, even by Oct 1st. Tickets will get you stadium access when possible and online streaming when not.

By all means wait as long as you wish and we may have a better picture but its never going to be set in stone.

Eh? So, what you're saying is we are never going to play next season then? At some point the fixtures and how they will operate will have to be decided by the relevant authorities. Once that is done, then I'll buy my season ticket. Am I writing this in Swahili or something?

Well no, but I'm not sure what odds you think physically publishing the fixtures is going to make? You have 13 or 14 home league games, starting on 17th October. You will also have 1 or 2 home Betfred games in the fortnight before. You know this now. The expectation is you will be allowed to physically attend the last 9 home games.

That isnt going to change as it stands. It may change as we progress. You may be allowed in earlier than expected. There may be subseauent spikes and lockdowns. Nobody knows and nobody can tell you with any more certainty than that. Clearly the closer to October we get, the more accurate your impression of what may happen will be but its never going to be any more than "here are the fixtures, you will be allowed to physically attend as soon as the Govt says so and we acknowledge there may be a need to reverse that at a later date. If games are played and you are not allowed in, you will be given online streaming access."

I never said we wouldnt play, no idea where you pulled that from, I just dont know what it is you expect to be additionally set in stone before you make a decision.

Absolutely love him, a natural heel that you love and love how everyone else hates him.

Would take him back for this season.
