parsforlife
I'd be shocked if one of the teams wasn't Brentford. It’s always brentford.Swansea got took a chance on a few from up here so are another possibility. It may just be his agent trying to stir up interest from bigger sides.

VinnyPar
Anything think we'll make any more signings before Friday? I think another winger and a goalkeeper would be sufficient.

Nisbet is only 2 years younger as well. There English Premier League and Championship clubs looking at Shankland. Strikers best periods tend to be around 28-30 mark. He’s still a few years away from being in his prime.

Squad is still light on numbers imo. Couple of injuries to certain players and we'd be humped.

Imagine if Dow and/or Nesbit went missing for a month or two. We'd be utterly gubbed.
DAFC.
Would definitely like to see a goalkeeper, centre-back and winger come in. I imagine we'll only sign one of those, if that, but we need numbers as has been pointed out, some injuries and we could be absolutely gubbed.
airdrieman
Continuing our love of signing Dunfermline alumni Rhys McCabe is allegedly training with us. Not sure if we're just offering him facilities, or doing him a favour because he's Callum Fordyce's cousin, but we certainly could do with another midfielder. I'm familiar with the name but don't remember much about him at all. What's he like as a player? We could do with a box-to-box player and/or a creative #10 type. He suitable for either of those roles?

He suitable for either of those roles? Creative, attack-minded (but not quite number 10) midfielder probably describes him best. Didn’t really do anything of note with us in League One but found a bit of form in the Championship, likes to get his foot on the ball and can pick out a pass. The game can pass him by quite easily IIRC but he’s technically a decent wee player with a good understanding of the game, should be a decent signing for League One. One of those players I’d have kept on but wasn’t overly gutted to see him leave is how I felt when he was released, I’m sure. I can’t think where he went or what he’s done (shirt stint in Ireland?) since leaving us which will obviously play a part in his fitness/match sharpness.

DAFC.
Aye, thought he was decent enough in the Championship.
Stellaboz
He was a midfielder when we had no midfielders. Decent but there's a reason he ended up in Ireland and not higher up.

VinnyPar
Crawford saying in his interview today he is trying to strengthen the squad before the end of the week, no mention of what positions. He also mentioned there have been no official bids for Nizzy.

If Steven Gerrard reads pie and bovril I'd like him to know Kevin Nisbet is rubbish.
