DAFC.
Could be another option if the wages aren’t demanding. Coley seems to be right out of favour. Where is Lang? And when are Murray and Thomson back?
cammy1885
Armstrong seemed quite an interesting prospect but was never given enough time. Was absolutely rapid and very direct IIRC

And when are Murray and Thomson back? Lang done his hammy in the Wafer cup match. No idea when he’s back. I’m sure Murray still has a few weeks to go yet. I seem to recall 8/9 weeks being mentioned when he got injured. As for Thomson, he’s back doing light training as far as I’m aware but is obviously some way away in terms of match fitness. I think the club are keeping things quiet regarding him to avoid piling pressure on
DAFC.
Lang seems to be another perpetually injured defender. Think we could be doing with Thomson and Murray being back in the team tbh.
cammy1885
Yeah hasn’t had any luck whatsoever since coming in.Yeah I think Murray and Thomson will both make a big difference
Poet of the Macabre
Always good to see some fresh faces in this thread. Dan Armstrong's highlight for the Pars was the "No Song for Armstrong" ditty at Tannadice. Chubbychops
I think the defence have been good the last 3 games, so not sure you could drop anybody for Murray at the moment. I agree that Thomson going back into central midfield would be a no brainer. I read somewhere that JT could be back in contention around end of November.
parsforlife
We’ve defended ok, but Murray is too good to be left out, Edwards dropping out for him is an easy decision.

He played two league games. Not saying he's rubbish but it's not like we're waiting on Virgil Van Dijk to come back into the team.
cammy1885
Murray a far better defender than Martin and I’d far rather see him in his natural CB position rather than at full-back. Been quite impressed by Edwards lately. Both him and Comrie are doing well at full back

Not sure with the hype for Murray has come from. Martin has been superb at centre half.
CallumPar
Would Martin & Murray be an option? Not convinced by Ashcroft at all and Martin played well at CB recently.
DAFC.
I'd certainly consider that as an option, as Edwards looks good at left back. Ashcroft is a total bomb-scare. He is a brutal defender but somehow escapes the criticism.
DA Baracus
Harsh to say he's brutal but he definitely needs someone more commanding alongside him. He definitely escaped the criticism Durnan and Devine got last season despite being just as bad/culpable at times. Martin and Murray is definitely worth a shot though.

TBF, with a very good CB in Morris beside him, he looked comfortable. But, without that type of defender beside him, he makes stupid errors constantly.
Chubbychops
Like said above, Ash is good with the right partner. Put him alongside a Devine and he falls to pieces. I think Ash has also played well last three games. Not defending some of the poor stuff over the last year but just don't think he deserves to lose his place on current form.
D.A.F.C
ICT going into admin might save us from league one.Hope they dont but this looks about as good as we are going to get.

But then again, that looks a bit far-fetched, even at this early stage. Not good about ICT, but you take anything you're given in these circumstances.
Stellaboz
Ash isn't a leader at all, quite why AJ made him captain I'll never know. He needs a Morris next to him talking him through because he can't organize shit.
Poet of the Macabre
Ashcroft was solid against Inverness after a shaky opening few minutes. I didn't see the Thistle or Alloa games but considering we conceded one goal across those two games - and it was a great strike - I don't the defence can have performed too poorly.
